Due to still having a lot of ice and snow, we've made the decision to cancel tomorrow's volunteering day.
It's dangerous for Sam, Frodo, Annie and Suzie to come out of their very warm stys for too long.
It will be back on next Saturday!🤞...weather dependent.

Gimli the goat has had a pretty horrendous start in life. He was fairly 'shut down ' and empty of hope. But then one day there was a star in the sky and on Christmas Eve Gimli found himself being transported to a new home, a forever home at Full of Joy Sanctuary .

Bewildered and unsure Gimli is slowly accepting the kindness and love offered him. He is learning to trust and he has bravely ventured out to meet his new companions.

But it's not just love that Gimli needs, he needs hay, and carrots, and new fences around his field.

So, I'm selling these 'Gimli's Christmas Star' hats to help boost funds to give Gimli, and all the other animals at the Sanctuary, the happy ever after they all deserve.

🩷🚨🖤 URGENT FOSTER HOME NOW NEEDED FOR FREJA!!! 🖤‼️🩷

This girl is just incredible 🖤🩷 She has had a successful 4 hr+ surgery to repair her broken front leg AND pelvis ❤️‍🩹🥺🩷 She’s been SO brave and is up on her legs already (supported with a sling for now) 🖤🩷

‼️ So NOW! We URGENTLY need to find a foster home for Freja from Tuesday (or even tomorrow evening) to continue her recovery/rehab for approx 2 months‼️🖤‼️ Here’s what she needs:

🖤 As close to her vets in Dewsbury as possible for follow up checks, or ability to drive her there when needed (fuel costs can be covered by HYPS)
🩷 A calm environment to ensure she stays as calm and rested as possible!
🖤 Access to a private, secure, flat garden and accompanied in garden, kept on lead/with a sling initially at all times
🩷 No access stairs/jumping onto furniture etc. No slippy flooring (we can provide mats/rugs if needed)
🖤 Someone who can be around a lot for her as she will not be able to do much for at least 4 weeks
🩷 Ideally some experience in post-op care, but not essential

🩷🖤🩷 PLEASE GET IN TOUCH IF YOU CAN HELP!!! IT’S URGENT THAT WE GET HER INTO A HOME ENVIRONMENT TO CONTINUE HER RECOVERY 🩷🖤🩷

⭐️🩷⭐️ And PLEASE keep donating to her care if you can - she has had a LOT of complex veterinary care, which does not come cheaply, but which is totally essential for Freja ⭐️🩷⭐️

We have 90,000 page followers 😲 … who we are sure would love to be in with a chance of winning a beautiful dog friendly holiday 🌊🦞 AND help dogs in the process!! 🐾 Can you imagine the success of this appeal if we could just reach those people who have ‘liked’ our charity 😲🦞🐶🙏🏻
