Some cute pups this week sorry I didn’t get everyone’s picture been a busy week. I am only working a few days next week but I then will be taking a break from grooming for a few weeks as boarding is really busy and I want to give one to one time to all the visiting pups. This takes a lot of work and we are family run do need to help out lol 😂

Sundays are still a busy day here for me as training the top dog four 🐩 so washes for some of my poodle team. Pups are 9weeks and ready for new homes two are going tomorrow and it’s been a day of play and giving mum Luna a makeover so she feels her best at a difficult time for her. Teddy and jester still looking for a new 🛋️ forever home.

I do love to get new puppies from the start as starting as soon as the owners get them help build bonds that last their life ;) my newest Top Dog had a brilliant first groom and her mum couldn’t believe the difference in her . Pictures are of the best pups old and new

It’s been a mad few days as been a busy bee 🐝 lol 😂 summer cuts all week and nice to see happy smiling pups . A wee update as bookings are fewer due to Abby leaving and starting her own grooming. We wish her the best but it’s back to me myself and I lol 😂 but I will continue to give all my pups the best service . Please if booking kennels all bookings are made on the website www.topdogni.co.uk . I am running two business and i can answer texts if i know who you are lol and i now have my number business only and only working hours. Bailey my son is now helping with bookings for kennels and online. But all grooming appointments are still to be made through me as i can understand what the groom is and if i can fit it in x thanks for your understanding Karen xx . So I have a lot of interest in the puppies and I wanted to post an educational post about 🐩.
I have owned and shown 🏅 poodles for over 12 years. Marley my first poodle was bought just as a pet and grooming competition dog .( pictured 4 black dog with pink flowers) he has had many a different hairstyle but he just is an amazing wee dog. A poodle needs professional grooming minimum 4 to 6 weeks between grooms . My show dogs are a different story they can be washed twice a week and groomed once a week and only recommend a show cut on a poodle for a groomer or someone able to groom their own poodle 🐩.
A lot of people look at my 2nd poodle Hugo (Irish champion Tiny Reilly) who is now retired ,living with my mum and dad. A lot say he is a gorgeous bichon lol 😜 . Hugo’s is the first 3 pictures of the white dog . And yes it’s the same dog lol 😂 . My dad prefers a teddy look. .
Poodles can look like like a cockapoo but they can also look like a cute poodle. 🐩 i love 🧡 them in all hairstyles and these pups are going to have an amazing coat which if your a groomer they will be starting their grooming training soon as I like my pups to understand how the grooming goes. Grooming for these size of poodles start at £45 for a pet trim every 4-6 weeks so please if considering a poodle pup allow this expense as part of their care.
