What a fabulous fun agility workshop ran by Charlotte this afternoon. Well done to all the dogs and handlers who came along, hope you learnt lots and aren’t to tired!! Can’t wait for the next one. Massive thanks to Charlotte 🙌

Good morning everyone.😊 Thought i would start by telling you all a little about me, my family and of course our four legged family.
We aim to provide the best possible diet for our pack and for us, the most natural balanced diet is the best! From a young age, i have always had a dog in my life 😊 They are the most loyal best friend anyone can ask for. 🥰

When i met my husband ( many years ago!) he and his family had cats ( which are just as lovely, but not quite as loyal ) ' you own a dog...... a cat owns you !'😀
But it didn't take me long to turn Dave into the K9 lover he is today 😃 In Fact..... he is probably more dog mad than i am these days!🤯🐕
We brought our children up to love and respect all animals especially our dogs ( Dogs deserve a lot more respect than some people give ) All our children love the dogs, but two of them especially followed the dog world..... Our eldest son started his career on a game farm with his trusty springer Meg.
And our youngest daughter follows her dreams with her five spaniels. Two of which she does agility with, Duke and Bracken the cocker spaniels. She also trained her sprocker, River as a gun dog . ( At 14 when she started the training with no help, i think is a great achievement! )

We have always fed our dogs the most natural way possible. We personally feed raw ( after all our K9 friends are carnivores!😉😁 ) They also get the best natural treats.
We try our best to not live off processed food and eat good fresh produce. So why would we feed our dogs processed food. A good healthy balanced diet really shows in a dog with great health, skin ,teeth and coat.
A many a time Dave will tell me our dogs eat better than us! Not a bad thing eh 😂
I think it is safe to say we are a dog mad family with thirteen spaniels in the family and three puggles 🐶🐕🐛🐾❤

Now i feel it is time with my personal experiences and knowledge grown through the years with my trusty companions, to share and help you guys to achieve the best with your dog/dogs health/diet/lifestyle.

And MADBEKS RAW was born 😁🦴🍖🥓

Saturday 25th November Handling workshop with the amazing Charlotte

Hoping to get enough interest to do beginners at 10am-12 and a more advanced group 1pm-3

Beginners/novice including building your foundation skills - jump skills (wing wraps and backsides), jumping independence and sequencing.

Novice - Developing jump skills, introducing new skills and sequencing with different handling options.

Advanced - Course handling, which skills create the fastest line and obstacle discrimination.

£26 per dog 🐶

Steeplechase competition tomorrow Saturday 14th October

Running orders
Medium course walking at 2pm
Smalls at 2.45pm
Large at 3.15pm

2 courses one inside and one out, One go per course £10 per dog if you haven’t paid then please bacs money over.

You can carry a no crumbly treat and or toy but not to reward on the course.

Had a get morning hosting a 1st birthday party for Biba’s litter of gorgeous pups, we played some games then introduced them to agility jumping over some poles, going through the tunnels and putting it together with some fun relay races and finished off going over the seesaw.
Everyone did so well and had great fun and went home with some homemade treats.

Happy 1st birthday 🥳 Sonney, Mabel, Roxy and well done Mum Biba 🥰

Mendip Agility winter steeplechase competition

Saturday 14th October 2pm
Saturday 11th November 2pm
Sunday 10th December 10am

2 courses one indoor one out( if weather is really wet then just the indoor will go ahead)

One go at each course small, medium and large heights clear round rosettes and 1st 2nd and 3 rd placed in each height.
Along side a point system where we will have a overall winner of each height to be awarded at our Christmas party (16th December)

£10 per dog per competition date

Volunteers needed to help run these events please 🙏

The hardest part of our puppy course is trying to get all the pups and owners looking at the camera!!
A massive well done to Bumble, Merlin, Maggie, Wilma and Winston you’ve all worked so hard over the last 6 weeks 🙌🙌
