We had a stray female kitten brought into our Tottington branch today. 🐈⬛
She was mainly white with a full black tail and black ears, she has some distinctive markings which will need to be confirmed by her owner along with photographic proof.
She was unfortunately not microchipped we are unsure if she is neutered however we think she is around 10-11months old. 🐱

We have unfortunately had a deceased cat brought into our harwood clinic. The cat is male and has been neutered. There is a microchip but unfortunately there are no contact details attached to it. He is black and white with one ear white and one ear black. Please contact our harwood branch directly if you think he might be your cat.

A female, brown/grey tabby cat estimated to be 1-2 years old has been found. She isn't microchipped and it is unknown whether she is neutered. She is very friendly and well in herself. If you think she may belong to you please call us at our harwood branch on 01204609060. Photos will be required for proof of ownership.

This is Ted one of our lovely patients who is currently at Animal Trust in Bolton he is in urgent need of a blood transfusion.
He requires Type B blood ( they will test this ) and the donor needs to be young and healthy!

Heat stress starts as a reversible condition, but if not managed it
will develop to heat stroke, which is extremely dangerous.
If your pet shows any of these signs, they should be moved to a
cool area and offered plenty of water to drink.

We have had a brown and black cat brought into our Tottington branch who is unfortunately deceased. 💔
He was found on turton road this morning.
He is microchipped and we are trying to get in touch with his owners, however we are not having any success.
We want to get him back to his owners as soon as possible❤️

We have had a black and white shih-tzu brought into our Harwood practice. He has spent the night with us however no one has come forward. He will be going to Manchester dogs home at 9:30 Please contact them if you are calling after 9:30am.
He is chipped and also is wearing a collar. Please ring if you think this may be your doggy 🐾
Photo evidence and identification of the collar he is wearing will be needed prior to handover.

A young, tortoiseshell cat has been found near our Tottington branch. She is not microchipped.

He is neutered but not microchipped, he has a small lump over his right eye and a scar on his head.

Hello everyone!
We are astounded here at Pennine to see a glowing yellow orb in the sky which we are told is the sun. Hopefully it continues over the bank holiday. We will be closed on the Monday at both sites and may indulge in an ice cream or 2! Should you need out of hours care, Petmedics can be contacted on 01617944999.
We will reopen on the Tuesday at 8.30.
Please note, Harwood area, will be having local roadworks done so there are road closures from next week and you will need to allow extra time for the diversion. It is frustrating we know but needs doing.

We have had a report of a missing dog.

Monty the greyhound went after a deer on or near Harwood golf course!
He is a distinctive black and white and is chipped with a harness. If you find him or see him about please call Pennine Vets on 01204609060 and we can pass your details to the owner who is not on Facebook.

Being microchipped will be a legal requirement in England for cats from Monday 10 June 2024.
Making sure your cat’s microchip is up to date is important because if they did go missing, it could make the difference in being reunited with them.
