Hi guys! I thought I would drop a small post here as so many of you helped me with Charlie’s rainbow bridge fund.

Teresa, a lovely lady who I work with, has had to take her daughter’s 5month old kitten to the vet as he fell off the kitchen counter. He has a spiral fracture in his tibia.

It looks like they’re going to have to repot his leg, and as she had her horse rushed to the emergency equine vet last month, and lost her dog over Christmas… her bank account has taken a battering.

I have met Odin. He is absolutely gorgeous. Teresa rescued him as he was going to be pts at the vets due to being a stray!! Her daughter has bonded with Odin, and I can’t bear the thought of them having to consider surrendering him due to the costs of his veterinary care 😢

I’m blown away by the shear amount of kindness and support we have had for Charlie. I’m sat crying happy tears, because even though we hit our target, people are still wanting to donate.

Charlie’s tumour is not curable, but this week we thought the vet was going to advise us to call it 😢

As it turned out, he had a very nasty abscess as a result of the tumour in his mouth (please note there are pictures of his progress in go fund me updates, which some may find upsetting). He looks pretty beat up right now, but 3 days into the antibiotics and the abscess seems to be draining.

We are continuing to clean and care for the wound as per the vets instructions, but for now Phill and I are just grateful that he’s still with us, and much more comfortable than he was.

It’s been a rollercoaster of a week, and we don’t know when we will have to give him back to the rainbow… but at least he can take that journey at home (provided his health is stable enough), thanks to the kindness of so many people.

The time has come for us to ask our community of followers for help. Over the past week, Charlie’s mass has gotten much larger. We have an appointment at the vet this week to discuss his quality of life, but as he is very scared of going to the vets, we always promised him that he could take his trip over the rainbow, at home. It breaks my heart to be writing this as we were hoping to have more time with our old boy.
We do NOT expect anyone to donate, but if anyone can spare even 50p that we can put towards his final journey, when the day comes… we would be extremely grateful.

Today our eldest resident Charlie, turns 14. A hugely respectful age for a cat! Our dribbly old man is now living his best 9th life. Being completely and utterly spoilt. For however much longer we are gifted with his presence, we will cherish every second 🐾 ❤️ Happy Birthday Boo 🎂

We’ve also had Bonnie & Arthur staying with us recently. Really coming out of their shells now they’re more confident around us. Free roam bunnies can be catered for as you can see 🥰 we have a secure pen that keeps little teeth from nibbling any of our boarding room furniture or cables… and they get to relax and enjoy some foraging games to find their breakfast/dinner. A simple cardboard box makes for an excellent source of enrichment when some tasty food is hiding amongst some hay 😉

Here we have 5 of the 6 beautiful kitties I’m pet sitting this week. I adore this clowder of cats. Each one has a wonderfully unique character, and as time has gone by, they’ve all learnt to trust me to look after them ❤️🐾❤️

We had the pleasure of being invited, to these beautiful babies owners wedding reception tonight! En route home, we stopped by to check in on the furbabies and give them some food, water and company, as a small wedding gift 🎁 We would like to wish their owners all the best, in the newest chapter of their lives together ❤️

I’ve also been pet sitting the lovely Bonnie. Still a diva and always makes me chuckle 🤭 she likes her space… but she is partial to some playtime. A beautiful Russian Blue and a kitten at heart ❤️

I’ve had the absolute honour of pet sitting Milo this weekend. He is a beautiful Main C**n and I think you’ll agree… a VERY handsome chap ❤️ I am a huge fan of this breed of cat!

We have a new furbaby in the TinyClaws family! Everyone, please meet Bruce 🐰 he has come to stay with us for a few weeks whilst his owners are on their holibobs 🏖️ as you can see, he has been helping us w**d our garden and enjoys a good explore around on his harness. I think you’ll all agree… he’s a VERY handsome chap
