Dog Owners its mad hot!
Don't leave your dog in the car! Not even with the windows cracked, even in the shade!
Don't walk them on Tarmac or pavements! Test with the 7 Sec rule before you do. They can still be too hot after 6pm.
Walk them when its cool, first thing in the morning, last thing at night.
Ensure they have access to lots of fresh water.
Keep them out of direct sunlight
Ensure you know the symptoms of heat stroke in dogs!

Drone footage of the end of one of my trails last year with Buzz, just came across the recording.

Fun in Letcombe this morning. Keeping as much to the shade as possible and finishing with some fun using the sports club. A very unusual distraction … the Great Bustard that first visited in the Pandemic and had his own Paparazzi of photographers and bird watchers! Occasionally he pops back but never stays long!

Welcome, “Game On” dog training. I am Mel Taylor, I am mostly known in the area for my Canine & Equine Photography. www.meltaylorphotography.co.uk

A little about me and my passion for dog training.

I have been nutty about dogs all my life. I have had the pleasure of owning 13 dogs, a mixed bunch of breeds, lurchers, collie x, staffie x, all resuce dogs. From pups I have had my Working sheep dog and most recently my Mini American Shepherds.

I love Dog Agility and have been competing for 10 yrs. My current dogs are Grade 5 & 6.
