We love that all our boarding dogs get the chance to enjoy our beautiful countryside. Having the opportunity to explore and find different scents certainly keeps them happy and content during their stay with us. The majority of kennels use enclosed compounds for exercise, this would be so much less time consuming for us so I completely understand why it is done, but I know our guests would not be as happy 😊

Stan the Man checking if there’s more snow on the way. One thing we are really proud of here at Windmill is keeping to a similar routine to at home as possible. We don’t know of any other kennels that takes all the dogs out individually for chance to toilet when we do our late night bonio and bedtime check. It is time consuming but the dogs are happy and we are happy to be greeted with clean kennels at 6am the next morning too 😆

Merry Christmas to all our wonderful clients new and old that entrust us with their dogs throughout the year. Our boarders will be having a turkey breakfast in the morning too 😄
We say a huge good luck to Kylah who will be leaving us on Boxing Day to go travelling for 3 months, we hope you have the best time and look forward to you coming back in March.
We would also like to welcome Lauren Southern to the team who will be stepping in to cover her during this time.
Please note in advance that next Christmas 2025, we will be closing for the first time in seven years for some much needed family.
