Hi everyone, Paul here! Just got home from the hospital at last! My fingers now back where it should be after 4 attempts across 2 hospitals…obviously still in a bit of pain and need to be careful with it for a while but I’ll be back tomorrow with a pic of the X-ray for anyone brave enough to see!

Sorry about any inconvenience today and apologies to Emily on her first day, this happened picking up the first dog so we didn’t even get started!

Unfortunately Pauls finger is worse than we thought so he is having to go to another hospital to get it sorted.

He’s not got his diary but he will try and message everyone he can. 🐾

We are so sorry but hopefully he will be feeling a lot better later today! 💙

Hello everyone! My first day on the job joining Paul to meet some of you and your dogs, and Paul has sadly dislocated his finger. 💙

We don’t know if he will be able to make the rest of the days walks or not, it depends what the doctor says.

🐶I have a rescue dog called Isla. She is German Shepherd cross Lab……She has the personality of a shepherd but the food habits of a Labrador!

💜I adopted Isla after just 4 months at Jerry Green. 😆

🐾I love all dogs of course! But after being in rescue I fell in love with lurchers and greyhounds!

🦮I am also a qualified dog groomer

🩷I have lived in Thorne for 8 years and am originally from Hitchin, Herfordshire.

Pauls Pampered Pets are excited to announce that we will be expanding with the help of a new team member!! Emily will be taking on new clients to fit around her family lifestyle and we can’t wait for her to start!⬇️

“Hey everyone my name is Emily! I am a mum of 2 under 5s so really need to be flexible for them but I still really wanted to work with dogs/animals where possible. My experience comes from working for Jerry Green Dog Rescue for nearly 8 years, I worked with dogs of all sizes, breeds, temperaments and backgrounds. I loved it and am so sad to be leaving. I was sadly made redundant recently and didn’t know where to turn. That's where Paul came in….

I have known Paul for 4 years. He has kindly let me join Pauls Pampered Pets and I hope to help this business grow! I will walk current dogs if Paul needs a day off, but hopefully mostly new ones too! I am kind, caring and fun to be around and hopefully your dogs will think so too. 💙

I can’t wait to meet you and your dogs! 🐶

Hi everyone, hopefully this is the final update! Chests feeling a bit clearer and nearly finished my antibiotics. I’m going to take the rest of this week off to make sure I’m better and I will be back on Monday.

Thanks for everyone’s patience with this, sorry it’s taken so long.

Just another quick update, I’m still in a bit of a bad way. The antibiotics seem to be just starting to help but I’m still not in a fit state to work which is very frustrating.
This week is forecast to be hot so if I do manage to get well enough over the next couple of days it will be short walks or drop ins.
Fingers crossed I’ll be back mid week, so sorry for the inconvenience to everyone. I’m doing all I can to get fit and back out as soon as I’m able x

Hi everyone, just a quick update regarding my sick leave. I haven’t been improving and completely lost my voice, still feeling very poorly. Been to the docs this morning and been diagnosed with a severe chest infection. I’m now on antibiotics so will hopefully see some improvement now.
I’ll update again before Monday when I hope to be able to return to work.
I really appreciate everyone’s get well messages and patience over this, those of you who have been customers for a long time will know, this is a very unusual circumstance as I’m rarely off work for any reason so rest assured if I could be out walking I would be and i’ll be back as soon as I’m physically able.

Thanks for understanding and i’ll see you all soon!

Just a quick reminder of some upcoming bank holidays - Good Friday 29th March, 1st April and 6th of May. I’ll be taking a well earned rest on those days so won’t be available for walks. Many thanks x
