Yessss!! Nanci Creedon Dog Behaviourist strikes again!
We love this piece! Please please advocate for those furry little family members... they rely on you for their safety and wellbeing. It absolutely baffles me that these balanced trainers are pushing so hard for tools and training methods that not only physically harm yours and their dogs but also mentally harm them too. Ask yourself who woud rather physically abuse a dog than treat it with respect and guide correct choices... have we not moved on from this type of "parenting"??

Now this is a meaningful article... something that ALL dog owners and dog trainers should read.
Please don't buy into any dog trainer telling you that shock collars only vibrate and do not hurt the dog... as with prong collars, they are designed to hurt, to force compliance to add in something painful in order to stop the unwanted behaviour.
Part 2! π₯°ππ₯°
Our week in pics and poses π
Not only did we get a little jog on this morning, we got some stunning poses on a rock! π₯°π

Part 2 of .woods π₯°
Today we mooched all the way to Woofing Woods in Leeds.
What a lovely place to visit! Took the stress out of wondering what the dogs were doing whilst also giving them the freedom to do what dogs do best... EXPLORE! π₯°
Freya was on fine form performing parkour all over the gaff! π€£
We will definitely be going back soon! π₯°
Some more cuteness ππ
Last week has been full of poses!
These moochers know how to turn it on for sure
πππ
This week has been week!
We've been out super early, near water, in water, in the shade, you name it, we've tried everything!
Lucky for us, we survived! π
On Saturday we had a beach trip to Talacre... what an absolutely gorgeous day we had! The dogs really enjoyed themselves and I had a double scoop ice cream on a chocolate dipped waffle cone as my treat after π π
New mooch member today!
He settled in fabulously with the rest of the crew π₯°

This is Brandy
Brandy has learnt to get attention by barking, scratching and generally being a pushy little bulldog, sacre bleu!!
Well, today Brandy learnt that calmness and sitting for attention was definitely the rewarding thing to do, this brought lots of praise and treats from the treat fairy π
Puppies should definitely be more like Brandy ππ
On Sundays we Parkour!
Parkour is like agility, only better!
We use small pieces of equipment or obstacles to build relationships, build confidence, tire our puppies and dogs out, build muscle and strength and engage our dogs mentally...
Why not come and join us next Sunday at 12pm?

Monday means Mucky Pups!
They all needed a wash before heading home! π«£π
This morning the squad went up to Helping Hands Dog Park .
It's a great space, lots of physical obstacles and with it being on a hill they had lots of climbing to do too!
We used the equipment for our poses and the pooches have been asleep ever since π
That's a win in my book π
Part 2 ππ₯°
What a week!
Bloody this bunch of not-rights π₯°π₯°
What a fabulous end to my final night at LDT π
I love my tricks class, people and dogs, I will really miss you all going forward!
Hopefully not for long π₯°

We have a list of tricks to achieve in order to gain titles and currently are heading for our novice title π We need to record 15 different tricks for this... can you think of 15 things your dog can do? π€ If so, why not get them on video and send off for your own title? Better yet, come and join our Trick Training class on Monday nights at 8pm, held at Lancashire Dog Training & Behaviour centre π Here's the registration link! https://LancsDogTraining.as.me/TrickTraining
My little worried noise at the end... π π was amazing and scary at the same time when he was walking towards me about a foot away βΊοΈπ
Ellie took this video of me last week (before the apocalyptic weather set in π ) I just love how the dogs all queue up to be lifted over the fence without being asked to πππ₯° They're too cute π #trusttheprocess #bondsandrelationships #handlertrust #positivedogtrainingworks #positivedogtrainer #positiveinteractions πΎ
My niece Ellie has been working as my apprentice/trainee for the past few months. She has been learning the ropes, learning skills around the dogs from a training and behaviour point of view, as well as learning each dogs individual personality and the life stages that they're all at. Ellie is excelling in her new role and the dogs love her (sometimes more than me I think!π ) One dog in particular who has taken to her is Pedro. They have a very close bond where he looks for her in the van when I pick him up! He gets very visibly disappointed if she's not there, and draws me over to the van if she is! π Pedro also has to wear a head collar to help control him as he's a bloody big dog and weighs almost as much as me! Ellie is half his body weight and so control and patience is paramount in his training. Of course, I'm always on hand if needed and this field is secure (I have worked extensively on Pedro's recall and our bond is second to none) As you can see, Pedro is patient and attentive and Ellie is the same. Reward based training is about communication and positive connections between handler and dog π₯°
