"I am Noema Gajdoš Kmecová, DVM. PhD, a postdoctoral researcher from the Small Animal Clinic of the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice (UVMP in Košice) and a supervisor of Clara Vandoolaeghe, a student of General Veterinary Medicine at the UVMP in Košice. We are collaborating with Dr. Jennifer Vonk, at Oakland University in the US.

We are conducting a (thesis) study on cat adoption process and we are recruiting participants to answer a short online survey. If you are 18 years old and older and you currently own a cat or have owned one less than 5 years ago, please follow this link to the survey: forms.office.com/e/vgBQYgSECL

The research will take approximately 15 minutes. Your participation in this study is voluntary and there is no compensation.

Cat microchipping to become mandatory in Scotland - HUGE congratulations to CatsMatterfor their brilliant work in this field!

We did it everyone! Our petition has lead to the Scotish Animal welfare Commision (SAWC) confirming Scotland to bring in mandatory microchipping of cats 😻
