Leptospirosis is also known as Wells disease. It is caused by a corkscrew shaped bacteria called Leptospira. There are over 20 different types of the bacteria that can cause sickness in your dog.

I'm so proud of Minnie, she's been our demo dog today and has been fantastic. We've managed her energy with naps and down time, but now she's ready to go home for dinner and a well earned sleep. ♥️💤 We've spoken to so many super chihuahua owners and enjoyed the event immensely . Mika has been to the groomers. While he looks super smart and clean, I was a bit shocked about how much they cut his pants and tail feathers. He went in a chihuahua and came out a pom corgi. 🤔

We went to Cattistock Countyside show and Minnie and Mika entered a couple of classes in the dog shows. Minnie got 4th place in best catcher, frankly she was robbed. 🤣 Mika and Minnie got 5th place in best pair. Mika didn't place in the veterans class. Minnie won a 'thanks for showing up' in the prettiest girl'. Which proves the judges were blind, she was clearly the prettiest one there. We learnt dog shows are a lot of standing around in the heat not doing much. 🤣 What have your dogs won?

On Saturday we were involved in an RTA, which wrote the car off. Mika and Minnie were in the back, thank goodness they were tethered correctly into seatbelts or the consequences could have been very different. Today Mika wouldn't eat, I guess he's feeling stiff and sore from the impact, So I felt justified in rolling out the sausage bribe and hiding it in his nosh. Who doesn't like a bit of sausage when you're feeling off colour. 😉

Tonight the clocks change to British Summer Time, and go forward an hour. So we are very much hoping that Prince O'clock changes as well and we stop getting an alarm call at 6am. I guess it depends if Princes' bladder and tummy clock also get adjusted. 🤣 What time does your chihuahua get you up?
