Your pet will be groomed with state of the art equipment in a safe and clean environment, with the love and attention your pet deserves. In its first year it won, its owner Christina Jones the Shell Livewire Young Business Person of the Year (NE). Dashin' Hounds Belfast branch was opened in 1999 in Ballyhackamore and moved to its current address in Dundonald in 2003. In 2004 Dashin' Hounds in Carr

ickfergus was sold so that Christina could concentrate on the Belfast salon as well as starting a dog groomer training school for those who wished to take up grooming as profession. Christina has had 15 years experience. She has attained a City & Guilds 7750 in Advanced dog grooming, L.C.G.I , has attended numerous training seminars to hone her skills over the years and is currently completing her Higher Diploma. She runs very successful dog grooming courses for people wishing to set up their own business and has bred and shown Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers. Currently lives and loves Harley (black Russian terrier) Otis (scwt) and Issy (blue roan cocker). Over the last 9 years the training school has grown and we are proud to say many of the dog grooming salons throughout Ireland, across the water and as far as Australia have all learned their skills at Dashin' Hounds.

Really don’t want to put videos up like this... I’m not trying to name or shame anybody..... just wanting to use this to help others learn.... this is what a matted coat looks like.... there is no way coats like this will brush out and there’s absolutely no way any groomer would even put the wee dog through such an ordeal..... So please guys brush and comb your dogs as much as you can and if you need any help or advice we are here to help😊 Dog groomers are not miracle workers.... if you want your dog’s coat to look good you need to put the time in too.... after all would you take this to your hairdresser? ❤️

Drying and deshedding a double coat this is just the first step in a 3 hr groom .... lots of hair.... this helps so much with all those lose hairs all over the house. This lovely boy gets this done every 6-8 weeks.
