❓Frequently asked question❓

We have a few people contact us with regards to query on a surgery Eachleim Blackwatch under went prior to standing with us.

In honesty it wasn’t something I have felt was necessary to share however given that the question of it being a genetic or hereditary issue has been asked I feel it’s appropriate to publicise the official letter from the veterinary surgeon who under took the surgery.

This letter was sent to the IDHS (GB) official veterinary surgeon who is also in agreement that the issue was not hereditary and Eachleim Blackwatch is still suitable for use as breeding stock.

Any further queries please don’t hesitate to contact me, George really is a lovely lad and I would hate for anyone to be put off using him because of misleading information and rumours

What a year Eachleim Black Watch (George) has had.

George is such a lovely stallion to have around and is an asset to the stud, we can’t wait to see what he has to bring in the future.

We are very pleased with how much this stallion has grown this year, taking to his ridden career like a duck to water, spending the winter with Karl at Rest Harrow Equestrian.

We are very exited to see what he has to bring in the 2023 season both here at Bowland stud and under saddle.
