‼️ notice to all clients ‼️

Due to a increasing number of unfortunate situations with certain customers not paying on time I have decided to make a new rule for my business -

• If any payment is not met within 5 days after the date the work has been carried out, there will be a 5% interest (per day) on the cost of the work carried out.

Personally I didn’t want to make this decision.. but unfortunately due to a small minority it’s beginning to affect my business and I feel it’s necessary to try help establish a sustainable business for myself and family.

I am very lenient with due payments, but I simply can’t afford to chase overdue payments as I too have bills that have to paid within a certain time frame, and I would prefer to run a business that I can trust to be paid within the time frame of the work carried out to make ends meet.

PLEASE NOTE: - I’m always willing to have a chat if there are certain circumstances and I will always do my best to keep a good relationship with all my clients , so please contact me if there is there any issues regarding such situations

THANK YOU 🙏🏼 - I really appreciate having such a lovely bunch of clients 🧡 and I’m sure this can be understood! 😁

When I met This horse he had one foot that was very broken back, his heels were sore and collapsed and the caudal aspect of his hoof capsule was failing.

After about 4/5 visits we have managed to achieve a much more ideal stance, better angles through the hoof pastern axis and achieved a much stronger heels.

Super happy with the improvement!!

Mustad Hoofcare libero 3/4 fullered with their great versatility. Here I modified these hind shoes to help with this horses suspensory ligament issues, dropping a fuller into the toe to create width (help float the toe) and thinned out the heels so that they sink into the surface transferring some load onto the DDFT and taking the pressure off the affected suspensory area. Simple yet effective 👌🏼

This horse suffered some collateral ligament damage. Creating a slightly wider lateral branch and thinning out the medial branch will allow the lateral side of hoof to “float” more and thus reduce pressure on affected area. Just a few little adjustment to this shoe and we are noticing improvements.

💥 5 tips for healthy hooves!💥

✅ 1: Regular hoof trimming is necessary for maintaining proper balance and ensuring proper distribution of weight on the hooves. Trimming should be done by an experienced and qualified farrier, who can assess each individual horse and trim accordingly.

✅ 2: Shoeing may be necessary for some horses that are engaged in activities that put extra stress on their hooves, such as jumping, racing, or prolonged periods of standing on hard surfaces. Proper shoeing can help to alleviate some of the pressure on the hooves, provide cushioning, and maintain balance.

✅ 3: It is essential to keep the horse's living environment clean and dry. Wet and dirty stall environments can lead to bacterial and fungal infections of the hooves, which can cause serious health problems over time.

✅ 4: Regular inspection of the hooves is necessary to identify any potential problems early on. Common issues that can arise include cracks, bruises, and thrush. Early detection and treatment can prevent these issues from becoming more severe.

✅ 5: Proper nutrition and hydration are crucial for maintaining healthy hooves. Horses require a well-balanced diet that includes adequate amounts of protein, vitamins, and minerals, which contribute to strong, healthy hooves.

📣 Dear Clients, 📣

*Price Increase Starting 1st April*

Apologies to all my clients for this news - but after studying my business income / outgoings recently I’m having no choice but to put my prices up to due to various factors such as materials going up in price, increase in costs with bills, fuel prices rising etc..

I know this isn’t ideal at current climate, but if I am to continue running a successful business it’s the only way I can carry on providing the service for your horses.

⭐️ please bear in mind ⭐️

I use the best quality materials and products on the market for your horses needs.

I attend Farrier continued professional development courses to keep up to date with modern techniques and materials used in farriery.

If there is any problems or anything you wish to ask me further about this please let me know I will always try to be understanding.

I love my job so much, and I love caring and providing services for you and your Horses needs, so I hope you can also understand my reasons for this.

Thank you,

Lewis
