Announcement!

It is with great sadness, that I am closing for the time being, due to van problems. Yesterday on the way to get some welding done, the van broke down, pointing to the oil pump, I can’t even start the engine now, so I need to get it recovered into the garage, for them to tell me exactly what is wrong and if it’s worth repairing or not. Heartbreaking for me, as I built this business on the inspiration from my own dogs..

I am fully aware that all the dogs I have booked for the next month or so, will need to be groomed, so if you need to find another groomer, then do so. I’d hate your pets to get into a state.

I am hopefully getting the van in next week, and will be able to update you all once they’ve tested it. But, for now he’s parked in my back garden looking sorry for himself, awaiting recovery.

This is not pretty 🤢

You know when I say, “I’ve found fleas on your dog, well this is what they look like”, might want to think about keeping on top of the flea treatments.

Fascinating but scary too.

I charge an extra £20 on top of grooming price, if fleas are found, so I can deep clean the van.

Oh well, the old van has struck again, off the road folks, can’t be driven, trying to get repaired asap, will have to cancel all dogs now, til New Year.

Any of my groomer friends/clients/friends, know anyone looking for a Wire Haired Fox Terrier, he is 10 years old, gorgeous dog, such a nice character with everyone, including other dogs, homes will be vetted, up to date vacs, no health issues, neutered.

Needs someone who will give him the time and love he deserves and also, keep him groomed regularly.

Another beautiful soul gone over Rainbow Bridge, missed deeply by her loving family, she had health issues in her last few years, but this came out of the blue, RIP beautiful Dotty 💔💔

This is a post from a Qualified Vet, please do not think you know best and ignore common sense. A dog never died from missing a walk or two. Heat stroke is a very serious and sometimes fatal condition.

Today I am grateful NOT to be working in clinic. No not to enjoy the sunshine, but to be away from the devastation that heatstroke still causes despite multiple warnings. I am grateful not to be battling to save lives, and witnessing unnecessary deaths of wonderful dogs who would have quite happily missed a walk today.

To all my veterinary colleagues, I just hope you do not have to see too many tragedies today. Sending lots of love and healing as it’s part of our job which should no longer be part of our job and has a huge negative mental impact.

KEEP THOSE DOGS IN THE COOL, AT HOME!

This is past a joke, just bloody ridiculous and inconsiderate.

Why oh why, do people have to throw the plug out and smash it, I am so sick of this, I have replaced so many plugs, then someone throws it out the window or through the gate AGAIN, is it really too much to ask 😡😡😡
