We are a friendly, caring Veterinary practice in the heart of Lawley, who treat patients like our own! Our practice was established in 1990 and ever since has provided veterinary care for animals in Telford and surrounding areas. We are a Tier 2 level Small Animal Practice awarded by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS). We are proud to be awarded 'Silver' cat friendly clinic status by

the International Society of Feline Management - this ensures a visit to Lawley is stress free for our feline friends! Your pets will soon get to know our staff - we pride ourselves on being able to provide a personal service with continuity of care for your animals, we never fail to provide yummy treats and cuddles for your pets! Our opening hours are 8.00am to 7.00pm Monday to Friday and 8:30am to 5.00pm on Saturday. Routine consultations are by appointment only but we will try and accommodate you outside these times if at all possible. Consulting times are as follows:

Monday to Friday: 9.00am to 12:00pm
2.00pm to 3.00pm
3.00pm to 6.30pm
Saturday: 9:00am to 4:30pm

This distinguished little lady came in for a health check with one of our qualified nurses — and what a star she was! 🥰

Mila handled her appointment like a pro, especially with a yummy Licki-Lix to keep her happily distracted throughout! 🤪

This handsome dude spent the day with us for his castrate procedure!

Milo was just a big softie throughout it all, enjoying plenty of belly rubs from the nurses — and he even brought along his favourite toy for a bit of moral support! 🧸

We wish him a speedy recovery and many more belly rubs ahead! 🤪❤️

Meet Jeff, the cheeky cat who came in for his castrate and microchip! 😻

You’d think he’d be taking it easy… but not Jeff! He was full of purrs, playful paws, and showing off his best moves for the team! 😂

Such a sweet boy - and now officially microchipped, he’s all set for more adventures (and mischief)! ❤️

Bonnie the ferret came in for chemical neutering to help keep her hormones under control!

She was her usual curious self throughout the visit — Kate made sure she got a little extra attention (and a snuggle or two) before heading home! 😍

Chemical neutering is a simple, reversible option for managing hormone-related behaviours and health concerns in ferrets!

Who couldn’t resist that little face? 🥰❤️

Handsome Fitzroy came in for an a**l gland flush! 💩

For anyone wondering what that means: dogs have two small scent glands just under their tail, and sometimes these can get blocked or irritated, which can make them feel really uncomfortable! 😣

A flush is a gentle procedure where we carefully clean those glands out with a special solution to remove any build-up and help prevent future problems! 💦

Fitzroy was super brave throughout, and we’re sure he’s already feeling much more comfortable now!❤️

Over the weekend, our Registered Veterinary Nurse, Lauren, attended the BVNA (British Veterinary Nursing Association) Congress — one of the biggest events in the veterinary nursing calendar! 🩺🐾

The BVNA Congress brings together veterinary nurses from all over the UK to share knowledge, attend lectures, and discover the latest advances in veterinary care. Lauren took part in lots of sessions designed to help her expand her skills and stay up to date with current best practice — all part of her ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

✅ What is CPD and why is it important?
CPD is a requirement for all registered veterinary nurses, ensuring they continue to grow professionally and maintain the highest standards of patient care. It allows our team to stay current with new treatments and techniques — which means your pets benefit from the very best care possible! 💚

Meet Bear! 🐻

This gorgeous Labrador puppy came in to start his vaccine course! ✨

He was a little superstar and, of course, got plenty of cuddles from the team, including Vet Enrique who couldn’t resist a snuggle or two! ❤️

Vaccinations are a really important part of keeping your puppy safe from serious diseases, and we love being part of their journey as they grow.

Welcome to the practice, Bear – we can’t wait to watch you grow into those big paws! 😍🐾

🍦Meet Ben & Jerry!🍦

These two cheeky boys came straight down to see us after eating some grapes! 🍇

Did you know? grapes (and raisins) are toxic to dogs ‼️

Even though we don’t know the exact toxic dose, they can cause sudden kidney failure, which can be fatal. That’s why it’s always safest to make them sick as quickly as possible if they’ve eaten any ⚠️🤮

Ben and Jerry were both feeling very sorry for themselves after their treatment 🥺 … and we hope they’ve learnt their lesson! 😩

If your dog eats grapes (or raisins, currants, or sultanas), call your vet straight away – don’t wait for symptoms. Early action can save lives! ❤️
