We are a friendly, caring Veterinary practice in the heart of Lawley, who treat patients like our own! Our practice was established in 1990 and ever since has provided veterinary care for animals in Telford and surrounding areas. We are a Tier 2 level Small Animal Practice awarded by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS). We are proud to be awarded 'Silver' cat friendly clinic status by

the International Society of Feline Management - this ensures a visit to Lawley is stress free for our feline friends! Your pets will soon get to know our staff - we pride ourselves on being able to provide a personal service with continuity of care for your animals, we never fail to provide yummy treats and cuddles for your pets! Our opening hours are 8.00am to 7.00pm Monday to Friday and 8:30am to 5.00pm on Saturday. Routine consultations are by appointment only but we will try and accommodate you outside these times if at all possible. Consulting times are as follows:

Monday to Friday: 9.00am to 12:00pm
2.00pm to 3.00pm
3.00pm to 6.30pm
Saturday: 9:00am to 4:30pm

She came in for her spay procedure this week!

❗️Did you know that spaying your pup can help prevent serious health issues such as pyometra, ovarian cancer, and can significantly reduce the risk of mammary tumours❗️

If you’re part of our Health Care Plan, you can save up to 10% on neutering procedures! ✨

Here she is wearing one of our recovery suits, which is a comfy alternative to the traditional buster collar! They help prevent licking and interference with wounds while keeping your pet much more comfortable! 🙌🏼

🚨 Emergency Visit for Moose! 🚨

This lovely lad Moose, rushed in to see us after eating a handful of grapes 🍇 - and his quick-thinking owner absolutely did the right thing!

Grapes, raisins, currants, and sultanas are extremely dangerous for dogs.
We still don’t know the exact toxic dose, and even a small amount can cause sudden kidney failure, which can be fatal ⚠️

That’s why, when a dog eats grapes, the safest thing to do is to make them sick as quickly as possible (at the vet!) to remove the toxin before it’s absorbed. 🤮

Moose was very brave and even had some cuddles with Freya, our lovely work experience student, to help make it all better 🥰

‼️ If your dog eats ANY amount of grapes or grape products, call your vet straight away.
Don’t wait for symptoms — early action truly can save lives!

Moose is doing well thanks to fast action and prompt treatment. Keep those grapes out of paw’s reach! 🫣

We have unfortunately had an entire male domestic short haired feline handed in to us. He has been involved in a road traffic accident and is unfortunately deceased 😔. He is all black with a tiny bit of white on his chest. He isn't microchipped and isn't wearing a collar. The accident happened in Madeley around 2pm this afternoon. Meet Beef! 🥩 ❤️

This handsome chap came in for a dental procedure! 🦷

We performed dental X-rays which showed he did need a few extractions unfortunately.

Dental X-rays are important because they let us see what’s happening beneath the gum line - where most dental disease hides!

Many painful issues like tooth resorption, root infections, and fractures aren’t visible during a regular exam. With dental X-rays, we can diagnose problems early, provide better treatments, and keep our feline patients healthier and more comfortable! 🤩

We hope he’s feeling much better now and wish him a smooth recovery! ❤️
