Watch Bentley’s full groom at Breezy Paws🐾

Bentley’s mum informed me that he had a sensitive trachea, this can be caused by a few different things included throat cancer, tracheal collapse and more.
Symptoms can include coughing, wheezing and difficulty breathing.
So during Bentleys groom I was holding the neck strap away from his neck and most of the time I was just holding his body instead. His comfort and safety is the most important thing.❤️

This is Jonny the jack russel terrier🐾 he visited Breezy Paws to be hand stripped. This is a process where wire coated breeds have the dead coat pulled out by hand. This allows air to flow to the skin and helps to maintain the coats texture. Hand stripping will also promote healthy hair growth. Initially hand stripping can appear to be painful but if it’s done correctly it can be relaxing for some dogs - especially if they are used to it! 🥰 The key is to be gentle and ensure that the dog is comfortable.
