She is a lovely lady, having taken her in in April we thought the names suited perfectly.
Her and Teddy have made a great friendship and our inseparable 🥰
She is extremely greedy and very vocal especially when its feeding time 😆

They both enjoyed their day out yesterday at the Weald n Downland Christmas market 🎄
Thankfully the rain stopped and the sun made an appearance ⛅️
It was a wonderful very festive weekend, the donkeys got lots of attention 🤗 and we met some lovely people.

A beautiful sunny day yesterday after a very cold night, the donkeys stood in the sunshine making the most of it 🥰 ( Sadly Unlike today 🌧️ )

We are very excited to be back at the Weald n Downland Christmas Market this weekend 🫏🎄🫏🎄 Come and say hello if your there 😊

🎄🎄 Announcement - Its carol time 🎄🎄

Our Christmas Carols at the sanctuary is on the Saturday 13th December @ 3pm entry - 4pm start with the wonderful Spinnaker Chorus who have very kindly offered their support ☺️
This is a causal festive afternoon of Christmas carols and classic’s 🎶 To help raise much needed funds for the donkeys, refreshments available, raffle, our cabin gift shop will be stocked with beautiful donkey items 🎁 and we hope a very jolly atmosphere to be had by all ☺️
You never know the donkeys might join in… Bray, bray 😆

We thank you all for your support in one way or another, honestly without you we cannot do what we do for these absolutely wonderful donkeys and give them the very best love, care and attention that they all deserve given some of them having had such an awful backgrounds ….. 💕💖💕

Love is sharing……. 🤍💖🤍

Poppy has been dining out with Ted the sheep 🥰
Bless her it must be her motherly instinct, Ted is now the only sheep having lost his fleecy family over the years he himself is now 11 years old, gosh how time flys he was born at the sanctuary ☺️
The donkeys are all his family and friends and they get along well 💕

Thank you to everyone for the carrots we received yesterday you are all amazing 🥕🥕🙏

Most of the donkeys had some chill out time over the weekend on their other fields which are dry - Yay!!

Tucker left easy to recognise, JJ middle and Dudley right, there where others around somewhere ☺️
We missed our visitors over the weekend it seemed strange, but we are always very busy caring for the donkeys, doing jobs around the sanctuary maintenance etc that have to be done the work is endless….. 🤪

🥕🥕 Also we have completely run out of carrots please help if you can 🙏 🥕🥕 We haven’t told the donkeys 🤫
