Our signature style is rustic country to enhance homes where people like to read books, sprawl on sofas, have pets, entertain and generally live life! We also search out retro items such as lighting, mid century glass and china, kitchenalia and ephemera.

Feeling very proud and lucky to have been nominated as one of 50 Community Heroes to celebrate Horsham District Council's 50th anniversary. We were hosted at a lovely tea party at Warnham Nature Reserve - a stunningly beautiful spot with a huge lake, drifts of wild flower planting and seated areas. Whilst most people who volunteer are not doing it for recognition, when it comes it is appreciated. I love volunteering and meeting so many different people. Thanks to those who nominated me - it means a lot.

Another lovely day with our traders and customers at the Vintage Jumble. The sun shone, people sat outside for tea and cake and enjoyed the daffodils planted all around the hall. We have raised £210 for animal charities. A major part of this will be donated to Arundawn Dog Rescue towards emergency vet costs for two dogs who have had pyro (infections of the womb). A donation will also be given to a lady in Portugal who has taken in a stray and now has 10 puppies to care for! She is not a formal rescue but is trying to do her best for them. We will be back in the autumn in October and then December. We hope everyone has a great summer and will see some of you out and about.

The Vintage Jumble supporters helped to raise a wonderful £500 yesterday. What a great day we had. So far the following donations have been made:
£100 to Andrea Charlwood who runs All Cats Great and Small (but helps all animals where she can)
£100 to Jarjeer Mule and Donkey Trust helping equines in Morocco
£100 to Desperate-Dogs Romania helping dogs in Romania, including neutering, food and rehoming
£100 will be sent to a charity working for animals in Ukraine, details to follow. I have one more £100 donation to allocate.

Following our event yesterday, I am delighted to say that so far I have sent donations of £100 to All Cats Great and Small and Jar Jeer Mules. The cat rescue is run by Andrea, who lives in my village. As well as cats, she rescues wildlife, scans lost cats and does so much for animals. Jar Jeer Mules is based in Morocco and does great work for mules and donkeys, with many injured by the earthquake. Very different causes, but doing good work for animals. More donations later. I am delighted to say that with the door takings, raffle, a percentage of stall money and donations £500 was raised which will be shared with animal rescue groups. I will announce who will receive the donations tomorrow. Thank you to all traders and customers for your support of our event.

COMING SOON This Sunday 19 November - it's our 10th Anniversary. We celebrate at our lovely Vintage Jumble at Loxwood Hall. As well as bargain hunting, buyers will have the chance to win up to £25 in our Purple Ticket draw and to enter a lucky number draw for a refilled Liberty's Advent Calendar (£2 per ticket). The first 10 Jumblies in our Early Bird queue will also receive a Goody Bag. Yes, it's going to be epic! Come and join the fun.

Thanks to everyone who came to yesterday's Jumble - we were pleased to see everyone despite the clock change and the miserable weather. We will be donating £175 to animal rescue charities - thanks for making this possible.

Thanks to all you sold or bought at our vintage jumble yesterday. We raised £252 on the door for animal charities. So far, the following has been donated:
£75 to Arundawn Dog Rescue to help meet their electricity costs
£80 to Desperate Dogs Romania for costs in caring for dogs in kennels in Romania
£50 to Lucy Irvine foundation in Bulgaria towards spaying, feeding, vets bills for animals of all shapes and sizes.
The remaining money will be used for food for the Billingshurst and Surrounding Area Pet Food Bank helping people and pets stay together during the COL crisis.

Another lovely busy day at the Vintage Jumble. We raised £252 at the door and from donations to donate to various animal rescue groups (details to come). Thanks to all our lovely traders, buyers and helpers for making the day so enjoyable. We look forward to seeing you again on Sunday 26 March, our last spring fair and then a break until autumn.

THIS SUNDAY - we are back at lovely Loxwood North Hall with our fantastic Vintage Jumble (fair). We have a packed house with 20 sellers, many new faces, bringing along boxes of bargains. If you are looking for vintage, antique and preloved items you are in for a treat. Plus, grab a bacon butty or cake and drink from our cafe. Early Bird Entry 9.30 for £2; standard from 10.30 £1. Free parking. Dog-friendly. Come on down for a rummage!

A lovely busy day at yesterday's Vintage Jumble. We have one more event this year, Sunday 20 November. Thank you to all our super traders who brought along fantastic items; also big thanks to the cafe and car parking team for ensuring that everything ran smoothly. And of course, thank you to our buyers, regulars and new, who travelled in horrid weather to join us! Great to see so many of you leaving with bags of goodies! We raised £200 which will be donated to animal rescue groups. £100 to All Cats Great and Small, a local rescue who take in cats, but also wildlife and the odd chicken! £50 will also be sent to Arundawn Dog Rescue and the other £50 to my friends at the Welsh Horse and Pony Project.
