This lad is a little bit worried and anxious when out and about, so we have started by building some confidence and positive focus on his hooman.

Starting in the garden means he has a safe space to learn new skills before we head out for some training in the big wide world! 🐾🐾🐾🐾

Muzzle training has begun for this beautiful boy 💙

Being an American Staffy he looks “true to type”, so his sensible owner is muzzle training him for when/if he might need it.

Training is going nicely and he is picking it up super quickly…..clever boy! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

He has been practicing putting his nose in to lots of different objects to build confidence before introducing the muzzle! 💡

Calm zone training with Ruby 🐾🐾🐾

Building value in a calm zone is must have training for every dog. 🐶

Teaching them the value of hanging on (or in) their calm zone will really help keep things chilled in and around the house 😇

Remember, what your dog practices it becomes really good at!

Make sure you’re adding some calm zone training in to your dogs daily life, so they can practice,practice, practice and get really good at releasing their inner zen! 🧘‍♀️

Training has begun for Digby!

To help him through some struggles with over arousal and anxiety, we started with some foundations for promoting calm.

Just by making a few changes, we can set things up for success. Meaning, we can reward him for all the great choices he is making in his day to day life.
