The deep narrow chested dogs prone to bloat who are stressed and pant heavily due to fireworks. Give them their tea a little earlier in the day.

Heavy panting and food can be a risky combo for the development of bloat and a twisted stomach. A minimum 2 hour gap will at least allow some of the food consumed to empty from their stomach and reduce the risk

Potentially life saving for dogs with epilepsy ❤️

A LIFE SAVING TIP. Again I cannot take credit for discovering this. I always say I’ll teach you, but you know sometimes you teach me and one student from last nights course did exactly that.

Ocular compression, applying compression to the globe over closed eyelids stimulates the vagus nerve and can stop, slow, or prevent further seizures. I’ve been reading LOTS about it and I’m so pleased to have discovered this as it’s something you can do at home to help your dog.

This will not work for conditions that are not related to epilepsy such as seizures due to heat stroke or toxins.

Please share at this could make a huge difference to so many epileptic dogs.
