First day back in 2025! After two weeks of eating a years worth of chocolate, and finding spaces to put an entire stores worth of new toys for my boys, it’s time to get back to it!

Mabel and Murphy came today for a deep clean of their teeth. They had a trial session at their last groom to make sure they tolerated the cleaning process before I booked them for a full session. Their mouths are now free of tartar (mostly, I’ll get the remaining stubborn bits on their next groom!) and they will be having maintenance sessions at each groom to prevent tartar building up again. I love making sure dogs will hopefully never need to have any rotten teeth extracted 😁

Mabel and Murphy came for the full works the other day! Full grooms, Christmas spa upgrade, and a teeth cleaning trial. (I do one tooth and make sure they are happy with every aspect of the cleaning process). Both did excellent for their trials and are booked in for a full deep clean in the new year! And they’re going home smelling like Christmas 🎅🏻 🎄

Senior Pet Grooming 🐾

Senior dogs often struggle with mobility and need frequent breaks to sit/lie down, and in some cases they need the full groom being done on the floor. I always work towards your pets best interest, so if this means having them in for the day with me and doing little and often grooming, on the floor or the table, I will of course offer this, and tailor the groom to your pet’s individual needs.

Today, 12 year old Sonny didnt want to stand on the table for his groom and he was a bit wobbly, so for his safety, I dried and groomed him on the floor! My leggings got covered in fluff 😂

Just been put to scan a suspected stray cat on bracadale estate, no chip :(
Female, white and tortie with distinct markings, age 1-2 years old. Neutering status unknown but suspect unneutered due to her having multiple homes where she’s fed and she’s quite a slender cat.
Very friendly, clearly has lived in a house at some point. Has also been seen on Bexhill.

For dogs who come together I usually bath and groom them together as they generally prefer having their bonded pal with them. One will often bark in the kennel while their friend is in the bath or on the table too, so it’s just easier to have them both together 😍
Today double trouble groom is Birdee and Buddy! They don’t live together but are good friends and always come for a groom together. It’s great until Birdee wants to help and sticks her head under Buddy while I’m tidying his feet up 😂😂😂 I had to snap a pic!! they both had the Christmas Spa upgrade so I’ll be posting their photoshoot pics in the next couple of days! 🎅🏻❤️

I love how trained Rupert is, he sits so quick before I’ve even got a treat in my hand 😂 Treat orientated dogs are much easier to groom as they generally learn how I want them to behave so quick! If I’m doing their paw pads, for example, I’d they pull back and do the twisties, they don’t get a treat. As soon as they settle and allow me to do it, they get a treat. You’d be amazed how quickly most dogs pick this up!

The magic of artero Matt X spray! This spray is my absolute go to when wool coats are a bit tangled. Here’s William demonstrating just how well it works! (Disclaimer- I do not spend any longer than 10/15 mins dematting as it isn’t in the best interest of your pet, any matts that won’t come out with a slicker brush and the blaster dryer will be clipped off for your pet’s welfare. Some fur types brush out easier than others, so this service is totally dependant on your pet’s fur, condition of coat, and behaviour)

Imagine if every cat was as chilled as sebby.. 😻 (He has had no sedation or medication, he’s just a super relaxed boy!💙)
