Hedgehogs are vulnerable to extinction! Let’s work together and help 👇

🦔 Don't use pesticides & slug pellets in your garden. Not only can they poison the hedgehogs, they also destroy their food chain. If you make your garden a hedgehog paradise, you won't have any slugs anyway!

🦔 Make sure hedgehogs can get in and out of your garden by putting gaps in your fences. Hedgehogs can wander up to two miles every night in search of food and mates. Every backyard should be a hedgehog highway!

🦔 Leave out a shallow bowl of water, especially in hot weather, and cat food (wet or dry), particularly in the winter. If you cover these over with a firm plastic box with holes cut out, you can ensure only hedgehogs have access.

🦔 ALWAYS check very carefully before strimming or mowing, both can cause horrendous, and usually fatal injuries, to hedgehogs.
