Experienced with rescues, reactive, timid, elderly, puppies, epilepsy and also just balanced and happy! I am a total dog enthusiast and lover of all creatures great and small plus nature in general. I have grown up with dogs, cats, fish and rodents all my life. Whilst working as a ranger on Hampstead Heath extension I met so many dogs and this broadened my love and understanding further of individ
ual breads. Dogs are basically the coolest animals on our planet, just so much love to give 😍
I have a lot of experience with elderly, reactive and timid dogs, and I have an enhanced DBS, full insurance and have recently completed my canine first aid to compliment my first aid for humans. I have tractive GPS units I also use when we are out. I have done courses with IMDT (Institute of modern dog trainers). Canine Body Language Course & Canine Aggression and Rehabilitation as there are many reactive dogs these days and it is so important to be able to recognise the signs of dogs being unhappy so you can remove them from the area and so avoid situations. I will always put the dogs safety first. I have 1 mixed cross dog who is 13 years old (Solar) and still very active as I believe regular walks are best for their mind, body and soul. I brought her with me when I relocated home to the UK from overseas 6 years ago as I believe that our dogs are family, just as our children are. Recently our best friend (Lunar) and companion passed over the rainbow so she loves the company in the home and she also joins some of the walks. My logo is a tribute to Solar and Lunar, my soul buddies forever. I am new to North Finchley after moving from Hampstead Heath and am loving exploring all the local walks, so many to choose from! I drive and will be happy to take your dog to Hampstead heath for a long walk or keep it local for a short one. If you would like to board your dog with me please know it is entering a family home. My children have grown up with 4 large dogs between 20-40 kilos and they know how to respect a dogs space. No dogs will be left unattended at anytime and will be carefully vetted to make sure everyone will fully enjoy their time in our home. On another note I am an experienced re**er and have had my own aquarium for about 16 years in total either reef or freshwater specialist shrimps and fish, Also working in an aquarium shop overseas. I currently have a 250 ltr tank with sump, UV, reactors, skimmer etc, this is my 3rd reef tank. I used to also keep 2 royal pythons when I was a lot younger. I'm a bit of an all rounder so to say :)

Please sign and share friends. The Isle of Wight ferries both Wightlink and Red Funnel are strangling the island by their prices. It’s not just stopping tourists from visiting and so affecting my business www.bluewindsandwaves.co.uk and everyone else’s but it’s also stopping family visiting the island and islanders visiting mainland family.
Also you have the fact that trying to get to hospitals on the mainland is difficult especially if you need to drive there due to train prices also being so expensive. I personally know people who have missed appointments due to the huge cost!

Beautiful Milo and Chloe 😍 Milo is an American Lab and Chloe is a rescue that only let me stroke her at the end of the walk, incredibly mistrusting of people until she gets to know you. Wise dog!

Both dogs from parents of my daughter’s school by coincidence.
Lilly the 11 month working cocker spaniel who is so high energy but super sweet. Pigeon who’s around 3 yrs and far smaller and also not so mad! Pidge of course spent the day on walks teaching Lilly how to behave and it ended in love 🥰 Excuse my singing but it was so beautiful 😍
There is nothing better than little and large walking together 😍 Monty is past 10 and spritely with those long legs. Pigeon is young but not into huge amounts of walk so they make the most beautiful couple as opposites attract!
Nothing like a relaxed social walk finished with relaxing under a tree for them.
Diesel! I have a new friend today 😍 He’s a stunning rescue who has some bad anxiety and is reactive to other dogs so a private walk for him. Such a lovely boy though and I’ll be happily helping him with some training.

Such a good reminder that if we can’t see their ribs we need to look at their diet. If we don’t brush teeth, don’t give them sugars either!
Commercial Pet Food
Has a lot to answer for! Obviously they are biased towards selling the most they can, but sadly we trust the package so much as to recommended feeding amount. We really shouldn’t.
Instead, use it as a very rough guide only and go by your individual dog and what it needs.
These four in the photo in a line are 2 year old littermates. All very different metabolism and in the heavier dogs their human quite rightly pointed out she wouldn’t know they were as big as they were if she didn’t have something to compare to.
It sneaks up on us doesn’t it.
