How to make a nebuliser
*HOW TO MAKE A NEBULISER*
This is a quick tutorial on how you can make a nebuliser for your Guinea pig. Your vet may advise using nebulisation (a piggy inhaler) if you have a guinea pig with respiratory problems. Your vet may prescribe f10, saline solution or even antibiotics to put in this.
To make the chamber, you can use a small storage container that is airtight. I use a nebulisation kit from Amazon in this video and go through the steps needed to attach this to the box, and how to put in your f10/ saline/ medication in that your vet has prescribed.
The unit pumps in oxygen so your pig can breathe fine.
Please seek advice from your vet before using a nebuliser. This video is purely for the technical stuff!

Tips for cutting your guinea pigs nails
⭐️VIDEO- TIPS FOR CUTTING YOUR PIGS NAILS⭐️
Pig nails grow continuously and due to the soft bedding they live on, it can be hard to wear them down naturally.
If nails are left and become too long, they can curl and cause problems walking, are more likely to be split/ broken/ pulled and can even grow into their foot pads. But the good news is that’s easily preventable!
This video explains how to tell how much to take off - but as empathised in the video it is better to take smaller bits off at a time if you are unsure if you are close to the quik. If you catch the quik and bleeding does occur, apply pressure, use Styptic powder (can be bought on Amazon) to help it clot and if it continues see your vet. If you are not confident with nail cutting seek help from your vet practice or an experienced owner. However, you can make note of the appearance and length of your pigs nails once they are cut by someone experienced so you can learn what the normal length looks like on your pig- especially for piggies with black nails!
Hope this helps! Starring Marble, Matilda, Stan and Steve 🐾
