Its a sad time to announce that I have decided to call it a day and stop making biscuits and treats for all my lovely dog customers. It's been nearly 10 years since I started and I have enjoyed all the events and shows along the way and meeting all my lovely doggy friends.
Covid hit me hard and price of ingredients shot up..I think the time has come..
So it's Goodbye from Mabel & Bertie & me. Thank you all for your custom.

It's that time of the year to empty my collection tin for The Cinnamon Trust, the Charity that M & B's Gourmet Biscuits have supported for a number of years.
Thanks to the generosity of my customers and 10% of my sales we have made a bumper

A short spell in hospital yesterday has made me think perhaps I have been over doing things, so I am taking a few months off to recoup and get my energy levels back. Plus I need to restock
and get ready for the new seasons bake.

Thank you to all my lovely customers and their dogs who came to my stall at the Rotary Market today..biscuits & Hampers were bought for Xmas pressies and my new line in veggie sausages quickly sold.. I hope they are enjoyed by my four legged friends.

Just a glimce of all the natural wholesome veggies that go into our delicious plant based Dog biscuits .
All hand made and baked at Lavender cottage HQ. Plus wholemeal flour milled for us at Sturminster Newton ancient water mill in Dorset. No additives or preservatives so just wholesome treats.

I'm taking a couple of weeks away from the kitchen ,to collect deliveries, stock taking and gathering veggies for the winter range of biscuits.
I'm also up grading the Hampers which will be ready for Christmas so watch this space..
They should be ready beginning of Dec so I shall be taking orders shortly.

Just one of the lovely dogs that came to visit us at Sturminster Newton Cheese festival.
We were overwhelmed by the variety of lovely dogs that came to sample our biscuits and treats. Thank you.
We hope you love your treats and will come back for more.

This coming weekend Mabel & Bertie's Gourmet Dog Biscuits will again be under The Red Gazebo selling all their doggie treats at The cheese festival Sturminster Newton.
This a fantastic event with a large marquee
selling all things cheesy and lovely food produce. Live music and entertainment it really is worth a visit.
Come and see the ancient water mill where we get our flour which is used in our biscuits.

Trade was brisk ,the weather was sunny with a lovely breeze.Mabel & Bertie met a lot of new dogs and said hello.

News update on my mixer...
Phoned regarding progress as its been 2 weeks since I sent it to be repaired..They have only just sent for new bits..so goodness knows how much longer..
So I'm sorry I'm still only able to make small quantities of Mabel & Bertie's Gourmet biscuits till its returned..

My lovely mixer has gone away for a service and overhaul, so I'm baking smaller amounts all by hand which takes so much longer..hurry up mixer and come back I miss you..
