Hi I'm Nita, I've been a loving cat owner for approx 35yrs, including 21 amazing years with Foxy Lady as pictured. Crumpet is now at home with me, but hes not jealous when I take care of other cats! After house and cat sitting for friends and family, I joined Cat in a Flat and set up Love Cats Croydon in 2018, as a reliable and responsible home and cat sitting service. As a cat owner myself, I und

erstand its much less upheaval and anxiety for your beloved pets to stay home while you're away (rather than being homed or boarded) so offer my cat sitting, caring, feeding, cuddling or even walking services to give you peace of mind on your next adventure that you cant take your fur baby along to. To support my cat sitting services, I am fully DBS checked, received a 100% grade, distinction, and 150 CPD hrs in Feline Behaviour and Psychology and have qualifications in Pet First Aid. I've also looked after Sphynx cats, Main C***s, Siamese etc and fully understand the needs of specialist cat breeds. All visits include the basics:
Providing fresh food and water for your cat daily / Cleaning the cat bowls and litter trays / Enjoying play time and cuddles / Sending photos and updates
Please let me know any other service or specialist requirements though - happy to acommodate - I know all the kitties are different and have their own specific requirements, so can offer 1 or 2 visits a day, longer enrichment visits or anything bespoke / inbetween! If you choose me as your next cat sitter, I will send you daily updates and photos of your furbaby. I will also make sure you come back home to a happy, relaxed cat.

🐈‍⬛️There are only 24hrs in the day.

🐈‍⬛️I'm currently working around 21 of those with no breaks.

🐈‍⬛️7 days a week.

🐈‍⬛️I cannot fit any further visits while there are still only 24hrs in a day, without compromising the quality of the service offered.

🐈‍⬛️And I'm not willing to compromise our service.

Criena joins us with a few years of cat sitting experience already under her belt and a passion for adopting kitties. With 4 rescues of her own up to now, she's a dab hand at socialising tiny kittens to caring for and medicating senior cats.

And thats just some of the booking requests in today! Things are seriously summer holiday crazy, and I'm so grateful as always to you for keeping us busy, but can you all please stop going on holiday at exactly the same time 🤣😹🤣

Also to throw another number in the mix , 4. That's 4 (well 4.5) hrs spent redoing invoices for bookings already made and due to start in the next few days, as so many people have given us incorrect holiday dates! 🙈

Not only does this mean I'm doing everything twice, and using up time I could be spending with cats, it means some people we said no to, are missing out when we could have actually helped! So in fairness to your fellow cat parents - PLEASE ensure you book the correct dates!

In all seriousness, this little business has grown so fast and we really are at capacity, but to help, we will have more hands on deck very soon! Keep your eyes on your emails and on our socials to find out about our new cat sitters in your area 🧡🐈

Booking your cat sitter is super simple.
There's no App needed.
Theres no booking system to negotiate.
Simply check the availability calendar on the website, then hit the BOOK button on the service you require if there is availability on the dates you need!

The rest of it is done for you.

You just need to double check your invoice and make sure it's paid up on time to secure your booking 🧡

So a little kitty told me today is Tortie Cat Appreciation Day! 🐈 So we are here to celebrate the tortoiseshell ladies we've been visiting lately. Here are just a few of them - PLUS last pic is the glorious Foxy Lady - our gorgeous girl who died at a ripe age of 21 (before crazy Crumpet came into my life) Now you probably know the majority of tortoiseshell cats are female due to the female X chromosome which also carries the gene for orange or black coat colours. So if they carry two X chromosomes, females can have both orange and black colouring in their fur. Pretty much any breed can be a tortoiseshell, but did you know some cultures consider the tortie a lucky cat? In Irish folklore, tortoiseshell cats are thought to bring good luck to their homes and owners. In Japan, tortoiseshell cats are thought to protect homes, temples, and shrines, and in the US, tortoiseshell cats are sometimes referred to as “money cats” - believed to bring good fortune! Lucky you if you have a gorgeous tortie in your life. Local, loving and professional cat sitting

We've completed IPC (Infection Prevention Control) and Prevent Covid training and spent time on fully risk assessing our services. We will be following CIAF recommendations 100% and have PPE at the ready! 😷👍

♡ As always we visit your home when you are not there, so social distancing is already in place ♡ Key collection and return can now be fully contactless ♡ We have introduced a virtual meet and greet before your sitting ♡ And of course while in your home will employ PPE - keeping your cat, your home (and ourselves) protected.

I've been a loving cat owner for approx 35yrs and last year fostered one of my previous kitty clients. Crumpet (pictured here) is now at home with me, but hes not jealous when I take care of other cats! After house and cat sitting for friends and family, I joined Cat in a Flat and set up LoveCatsCroydon in 2018, as a reliable and responsible service looking after not only your animals but your homes too if required.

As a cat owner myself, I understand its much less upheaval and anxiety for your beloved pets to stay home while you're away (rather than being homed or boarded) so offer my cat sitting, caring, feeding, cuddling or even walking services for your cat, from the comfort and familiarity of their own home, while you are off on your next adventure that you cant take your fur baby along to. To support our cat sitting services and for your peace of mind, Love Cats Croydon The Croydon Cat Sitter is fully DBS checked, insured, and we have qualifications in Feline Behaviour and Psychology, Pet First Aid, Prevent Covid and Infection Prevention Control. We are happy to administer medication, have looked after Sphynx cats and understand the needs of specialist breeds.
