The story behind Swift Paws

Swift Paws provides dog walks, pet sitting and Canicross classes in North Yorkshire across Leeds(incl. Wetherby), Harrogate, and York.

We're so pleased that you want to know more about us.

So let's start from the beginning...

Swift Paws started with Chief Dog Walker Sian - who is absolutely mad about dogs. They have always played an important part her life and had always made her life better - and she loves them for it. Big dogs, small dogs, cheeky dogs, long dogs - you name them, she's got a special place in her heart for them all.

Sian wanted to provide a service for dogs (and their owners) that was her little way of showing her love and appreciation of dogs. She wanted to do something that would help dogs and their owners to live long, healthy and happy lives. This is the driving force and ethos behind Swift Paws.

Swift Paws delivers dog walks (or as we like to call them - adventure nature walks aka 'Mega Walks'), pet sitting (including overnight stays) and canicross sessions (which is where dog owners run with their dogs).

We know that dogs are an important part of your family and that it's important that they are in good care when someone is looking after them for you. Therefore, we have made sure that our team have got the qualifications to back up their love for dogs so that you know that your dog is in the care of someone who is a 'dog professional' who takes their welfare seriously and knows how to keep you and your dog safe.
