Full-Time Dog Groomer – Washington

Do you love wagging tails, wet noses, and making pups look their absolute best? At Pooch-a-Rama in Washington, we’re searching for a full-time Dog Groomer who’s passionate about dogs and ready to bring their grooming skills to our fun, friendly, and fur-filled team.

✂️ What You’ll Do:
• Give pups the glow-up they deserve — baths, brush-outs, trims, de-shedding, nail clipping, and breed-specific styles.
• Handle dogs with patience, kindness, and plenty of belly rubs when needed.
• Chat with owners to learn what look they want for their furry friends.
• Keep our grooming area squeaky clean, safe, and welcoming.
• Notice any health concerns (like skin irritations or ear issues) and let pet parents know.

🐶 What We’re Looking For:
• Experience as a dog groomer (professional training or certification is a big plus).
• Confidence working with pups of all sizes, from teacup Yorkies to giant fluffballs.
• A creative eye and attention to detail (because no one wants a “ruff” haircut).
• Patience, compassion, and a calm presence for nervous or wiggly dogs.
• Team spirit — we’re all about supporting each other and creating a fun atmosphere.

It’s International Dog Day today 🙌.
I wonder if Elsa’s tears are because she knew I’d almost forgotten about celebrating today! 🤔.
No, they certainly aren’t, they’re because she wanted more sausage! And, just so you know, yes she got more sausage 🤣

Well who’s as smart as a carrot?!! It’s Stanley, of course. He decided to have a haircut for the summer weather ☀️. He looks so handsome that we just had to show that gorgeous face off for everyone to see!

Aramis was 8 years old last week. He didn’t want to take his birthday crown off, and wore it before, during, and after his bath and blow dry 🤭. We hope everyone enjoyed the carrot and honey birthday cake with the mashed potato frosting 🤤.

Happy Birthday Zack. 14 years old today and doesn’t look a day over 5!!! Zack turned up to his party, this afternoon, all spruced up and looking as proud as punch in a little bow tie. Because he is diabetic we decided a vegetable platter to nibble on with some of his favourite veg would be the way to go instead of a cake. He even had a little splodge in the paddling pool to cool down 🥰
