Before we close for the festive period, if your pet is on any medication please check you have enough to see you through.

Our staff will be taking a well deserved rest over the Bank Holidays, but do not fear we are always available for emergencies!

Christmas and New Years opening hours are as follows:

Christmas Eve - Tuesday 24th December – Open 8am to 6 pm

Christmas Day - Wednesday 25th December – Emergencies only

Boxing Day – Thursday 26th December – Emergencies only

Friday 27th December – Open as usual

Saturday 28th December - Open as usual

Monday 30th December – Open as usual

Tuesday 31st December – Open as usual

New Year's Day – Wednesday 1st January – Emergencies only

Thursday 2nd January – Open as usual

You may receive an email from Petchip.network - https://petchip.network/petchip-network advising that your pet’s microchip registration has expired and you need to pay for it to be updated – PLEASE IGNORE. THIS IS A SCAM. The email comes with a link taking you to a page showing your pet’s name, microchip number, your contact phone number and looks very convincing. PLEASE IGNORE.

There is a list of approved databases on gov.uk: Get your dog or cat microchipped - GOV.UK

Typically you would only pay a fee or first registering your pet or if you contact the company to update your details .

It is important to keep your pet’s microchip contact details up-to-date including if you move address or change phone number/ email address. Please contact your microchip provider direct to update your details.

Lurcher X dogs found near Turkdean. Handed in to us by a member of the public. Only 1 microchipped but details unfortunately not up to date. Proof of ownership will be required.

Thank you to all the gorgeous doggies that entered the competition. We met so many fabulous dogs and their owners last weekend at Stow Motor Show and Adlestrop open day.

The money raised from our jam packed weekend of events will be going to the wonderful Bluecross and other fantastic local charities. Thank you to everyone who donated and took part ❤️

*EARLY CLOSING ANNOUNCEMENT: THURSDAY 16TH MAY 5.30pm *
We will be closed from 5.30pm on Thursday 16th for an essential IT upgrade, likely to extend into Friday morning.

Small black terrier type dog found near Northleach. Handed in to us by a member of the public. Microchip details unfortunately not up to date. Proof of ownership will be required.

2024 is the year microchipping becomes required for cats, which is great news to help lost and stolen cats be reunited with their owners. If you book at Stow or our branches from January to March microchipping for cats is only £5, contact reception to book.
