5years ago I qualified as an Equine Sports Massage Therapist.
Since then I have embarked on an amazing journey of building my business Becky Bray Animal Therapist.
My aim when I started the business was to be able to treat and help as wider range of horses as I could at a reasonable price.

Sorry I have been a bit quiet on here lately I have been very busy with work, life and preparing myself and my horse for the BSHA Amateur lightweight Hunter at the London International Show.
As some of you know in the summer of 2021 my horse had a freak accident and I nearly lost him, 6 months later he appeared sound so decided to try riding him and see what happens. Each day he has gotten stronger and stronger and continued to stay sound.
I decided that as he had survived and come sound I would try and do some showing with him, never in my wildest dreams did I think we would qualify for LIHS.
It just shows with hard work, dedication, care and making sure myself and my horse have the best possible team to help you can achieve anything ###x
I am not expecting any one to come and watch at LIHS but a couple of people have said they would like to come up.

Our class is the Rising star light weight amateur hunter and is now schedules for 8.50am ###

Your London Arena wristband will allow you access to the International Arena riders’ seats during the morning performance.
The London Arena
The London Arena is a new arena for 2023. Visitors can purchase allocated seats for The London Arena, which are valid for the whole performance which generally lasts throughout the day (8am – 6pm). There is a Wheelchair Area and Accessible Seating. The London Arena can be viewed from a standing position by all Thursday to Monday ticket holders (including International Arena ticket holders and Shopping Only ticket holders); please note The London Arena will be closed on Wednesday 13th December.

With it being a cold and wet afternoon I found some time to give my own horse, the marvellous Max, a very overdue massage to release his shoulders and hamstrings.
I think it’s safe to say he enjoyed it ###

Had the pleasure of treating the lovely Trooper today, he is a model client, does all his stretches, has a big drink half way through his massage and then a very large wee when we have finished xx

Due to the injury he over compensates on the right hind causing tightness in the gluteals and also on the right side neck and shoulder this in turn creates issues with right

It is very common that an issue in one part of the horse can show itself in other parts of there body.

Today I found time to give my own horse Max a much needed massage. You can see from this video before his massage where he was sore and tight behind the saddle in his longissimus Dorsi and then after some work on this muscle you can see how much more relaxed he was in this area xx
