The Bow Wow Pantry A one woman show based in Essex, creating yummy, healthy, natural treats for dogs. At The Bow Wow Pantry we take doggy nutrition seriously.

Our Carrot Cookies contain only oats, carrots and sunflower oil. Carrots are packed with fibre so they're great for your dog's gut health, they also contain beta-carotene which is only absorbed by dogs when cooked. They also contain vitamin A which is great for skin, coat, liver and lung health, too. Our second recipe is a Sweet Potato Treat. The ingredients are simply oats, sweet potato

and sunflower oil. Sweet potato is high in antioxidants, pantothenic acid, which is great for metabolic function, vitamins A, B1, crucial for carbohydrate metabolism, B2, for healthy skin and coat, B6, a natural anti histamine, Niacin, for healthy skin and coat, phosphorous, for strong bones and teeth, and potassium, for efficient function of muscles, nerves and enzymes. We've chosen oats as they are really well tolerated by dogs and rarely trigger allergies. They contain anti inflammatory and skin soothing properties and are rich in silicon which helps make bones strong. Sunflower oil is used as it promotes healthy skin, efficient immune function and heart health, it provides energy, aids preservation of normal organ function and also increases coat sheen. We strive to use the very best ingredients. We feel passionate about reducing the use of single use plastics and minimising the creation of unnecessary packaging waste. We're really happy that our recipes are packed with nutrients and dogs seem to love them too! Obviously too much fat in a doggy diet will cause weight gain so we suggest feeding these treats in moderation alongside a healthy balanced diet.

New venue, who dis!?

I did my first delivery to the lovely folks at Shoebury East Beach Café, today. Super dog friendly inside and out, this is a great place to stop for lunch, drinks , or ice cream during a lush walk along the seafront.

It was cold and windy outside, but still chock full of diners when we arrived. I can't wait to be visiting this gorgeous café in the sunshine.

This week, I visited Bedfords Park for a biscuit drop off and a dog walk.
It was muddy and chilly, but I didn't even mind. The deer are cute, and the cake is delicious. What more does a girl need!?
