Fantastic 50th Foster! Couldn’t ask for a more wonderful boy than 1 year old Gidget Find My Forever Home! He’s house trained and adapting beautifully to living in a home with other dogs, a savvy cat and a murderous tortoise too! He landed on Saturday and has taken everything in his stride, new people, new places and new experiences. He’s super sweet and adores people (especially ladies, the little lothario) who he has a sniff of then if you’re lucky, he’ll lean on you until you fuss him🥰 Soft toys are a favourite as well as being a huge foodie so we’re starting basics with recall training rather nicely. So the first four weeks with my forever home has been so much fun! I’ve been working hard at dog training classes. I’m going on daily walks with mum’s friends and her dogs. I even got to meet my amazing foster mum and foster bothers again which was soooo exciting! I’m excellent off the lead and check back in regularly. At home there’s a constant flow of visitors (including workmen) wanting to give me cuddles. No-one can believe I’m a rescue because I’m so calm and settled.

🥳 Just over one week with my new family and I’m loving life. My family love me too (hard not to when I’m so adorable and easy going)!

I’m very excited about starting dog classes this afternoon and mum can’t wait to be able to start training me in recall so she can let me off the lead.

Here’s me looking very regal in my robe, which I love wearing because it means I’m about to get a full body rub down!

Day 3, 4, 5 and 6 have gone really well with my new family. I’ve been such a good boy! 🐾 At the garden centre I curled up for a nap while mum ate sausage sandwich and at my brothers Nerf gun party I sat nicely and watched. I’ve learnt to sit on command 👏 and today I played with a toy for the first time! Mum says all I have to do now is sleep 💤 through the night and she’ll be very happy!!

Day 2 with my new family and I’ve had a great time at football practice this morning. All the parents were really impressed by how calm and friendly I was. I showed my appreciation by sitting on their feet. It was hard work having so many cuddles so I took the opportunity for a little nap during the game!

First day with my new family and I’ve been loving all the cuddles and walks. I’ve also slept lots which might be because I was tired from barking all night!!!!

Foster Mum took me and my foster brother Sprocket find my forever home on a fun adventure this morning! We joined lots of other pointies on a group walk! I made friends with lots of dogs and did my best puppy-eyes at the humans to try and find myself an adopter - paws crossed people! 🤞🏼🐾
