Home time! I decided to stay in hospital until this evening to help get my pain levels under better control. Words never feel big enough to express my thanks to all the incredible staff at the NTC Victoria Hospital for all of their kindness, support and amazing care that I have received this week!

Now it’s time to see my Mutley Crew….. I’ve missed Alfie, Cora and wee Willow the Whirlwind so much! Have a great evening everyone, Love Clare ### 🐾🐾🐾

Hello everyone!

So, that’s my operation done and dusted…. Hallelujah!!!! I’ve been back on the ward for a several hours now. I’m being spoilt! Coffee and some toast in bed, followed by lunch 🤩 The docs recommended that I had a spinal anaesthetic, so I was awake and watched most of the operation on the tv 📺 How bizarre watching it and seeing the inside of my knee! 😳Plenty of morphine to help with the pain….. Up on my crutches 🩼 and using zimmer frame already…… physio exercises explained (that will be a challenge!) 🙈 The Docs are hoping to send me home this evening 😳 however, things might still change depending on my pain levels. Thank you everyone at the new Victoria Hospital National Orthopaedic Centre. The care and treatment has been incredible 🌟 All in all, so far so good! 🌟

After several years of hobbling around with all our beloved fluffy friends, I will be heading to the Victoria Hospital on Wednesday 3rd April to have my much needed knee replacement.

All of my customers are fully aware of the current situation and have been kept up to date of my forthcoming surgery.

I will try my best to keep you all up to date with any updates during my recovery and plan to be back to work asap!

In the meantime, this week’s walkies are running as normal. There are a few spaces left available on Tuesday and Thursday, should any of our regular fluffy friends require extra walks before I go on sick leave 🐾

Anyone else have fluffy bodyguards? When you get caught short taking everyone’s pups for a walk and need a pee….. I turned round to see my 8 bodyguards taking care of me! 😳🙈🤣🐾
