⭐️ This week, we want to shine a light on a very special boy who’s been waiting far too long…

Meet Brian, a 15-year-old gentleman currently with South Pembrokeshire Cat Rescue, Tenby (Rehoming in South West and Mid Wales). 😻

🐱 Brian has spent most of his life surviving as an unneutered stray. After 15 years on the streets, his body tells the story—old injuries, healed bones, and the quiet strength of a cat who’s seen it all.

But beneath that tough past? A heart of gold ❤️

😼 Meet Brian…
He’s got a bit of a “Victor Meldrew” personality—no nonsense, knows what he likes, and isn’t afraid to show it 😹

What does Brian want from life now?
🛋️ A comfy chair or sofa to call his own
🥣 Regular meals (very important!)
😻 Fuss on his terms—he loves head and chest strokes
🪟 A sunny window spot for naps ☀️

He’s not asking for much… just peace, comfort, and kindness in his twilight years. 💜😻🏠❤️

🩺 Brian’s care
Brian has arthritis and some nerve pain, so he’ll need daily pain relief (metacam on his food), which is not expensive.
He’s otherwise happy, stable, and enjoying a good quality of life—he just can’t jump very high these days.
He doesn’t like his hips being touched but loves his head and chest to be stroked with enthusiasm.

💜 No adoption donation required—the rescue simply wants to find him a loving home.

🐾 Still Waiting: Overlooked Cat of the Week – Nemo 🐾

🐱 This week we’d love to introduce Nemo, a beautiful senior lady currently in the care of Shropshire Street Cats in Market Drayton, who is hoping someone kind-hearted might open their home to her. At 17 years old, Nemo is simply looking for a peaceful place to rest her paws and enjoy the comfort she truly deserves. ❤️

🏠 Nemo is searching for a long-term foster home, with all veterinary care covered by the rescue, for someone living within reasonable distance of the Shrewsbury / Market Drayton area. Despite her age, Nemo is in good health and doesn’t ask for much — just a quiet, cosy home where she can relax, feel safe and be gently spoilt. 😻

💜 After what hasn’t always been the easiest life, Nemo would thrive in a warm, calm indoor home where she can spend her days snoozing in soft beds, enjoying the occasional fuss and simply being cared for. She is a sweet, well-behaved girl who would make a lovely companion for someone who enjoys the gentle company of an older cat. 😸

🏠 Because Nemo prefers a peaceful environment, she would be best suited to a home without young children. She may be happy sharing her space with a very calm and relaxed resident pet — another easy-going cat or quiet companion who is equally happy to spend the day dozing and taking life at a slower pace. 💤

🐱 Older cats like Nemo have so much love to give, and sometimes all they need is someone willing to offer them comfort, patience and kindness in their later years. Providing a long-term foster space for a senior cat can be one of the most rewarding ways to help a rescue animal. 💜
