These two have both been on meds for the last little while - Oscar had a dodgy incisor that needed to be removed and has been on antibiotics. Orchid, who is naturally a snuffly pig, has been on different antibiotics for grunty breathing. Oscar is fine and just needs to finish the course, Orchid is grunt free for the first time in a while - long may it continue! 🩵🩷

Shelly is due to see uncle Simon next week! It’ll be three months since she had any dental treatment and she’s still eating well! ❤️
She’s a larger than life character and does tend to overshadow her friends at times. She’s also very good at blocking them out on videos too! 🤣🤣🤣

Hi! it’s Puck here! Huge thanks to everyone who sent me tooth fairy money! Auntie Debbie asked uncle Simon what the going rate was for the guinea pig tooth fairy and he said 30 quid! He’s a very clever man, but he got that very wrong! My tooth fairies sent me much more! You are all awesome! ❤️
Please excuse Marley’s coughing, that you can hear! He’s having medicine to hopefully make it better, that he says is very yucky! He’s in the cage above me and my lady friends! ❤️💙❤️
Sharing is caring with Lewis and Logan! 💙💙
These lovely lethal white boys, absolutely adore Emeraid!!
If anyone would like to send them some, they’d be so very grateful!
We are currently using a lot, as Maudie is enjoying and benefitting from it too, whilst sharing with her friend Kingsley!
Cream arrived at TEAS in April 2021. His previous vet had said no more could be done and advised euthanasia.
Cream has made incredible progress since being with us. As soon as Simon sorted out his teeth, he was eating well and he now only needs a quick tidy up of his teeth every 10-12 weeks.
Cream will be celebrating his 6th birthday on the 25th July!
His buddy, Ivan, came to TEAS with his friend Zoltan, at the start of the pandemic. Zoltan sadly passed over the rainbow bridge a few weeks after Cream arrived and Ivan was introduced to Cream. They became best friends immediately. 💙💙
Clemmie, Shelly, Clover and Buster would like to say thank you to Yvonne Scully and also K C Cramond and Bertie, for their donations.
Maudie would also like to make a request for more Emeraid, as she loves it too. Maudie is currently being treated for a very strange neurological problem, that has caused some facial nerve paralysis and although she can still eat normally, it can take her a little bit longer to chew her food and a bowl of Emeraid goes down very nicely! 😊
I’ll pop the link to our Amazon Wishlist below.
Huge thanks to everyone who has sent supplies! You’re all awesome! ❤️
Marley (two eye patches) and Jacob (one eye patch) came to TEAS from The Potteries Guinea Pig Rescue, as it was suspected that Marley may have problems with his teeth, as he coughed a lot whilst eating! Marley’s teeth were fine and a course of Doxycycline helped, but Marley still coughs from time to time, although I’ve noticed that he never coughs whilst out on the grass! Could this be an allergy, I wonder! But an allergy to what? Hay? I’ll be having a chat with Simon next week! 💙💙
Badger and Bodger are looking for their forever home together!
They are a lovely pair of neutered boars, who are very closely bonded.
Please get in touch if you could offer these boys an indoor home, with access to a run in the garden, for warm days! 💙💙
Buster and his ladies are enjoying fun in the sun!

Since arriving home, yesterday, Lightning hasn’t stopped eating. I’m sure he thought he’d just been for a sleepover, at the vets! 🤣💙
Lightning is home! The first thing he did was stand up at the bars between his and the girls cage, just to let them know he was back (unfortunately I missed filming that) He then had a quick walk round the cage and then started to eat his dinner! He seems totally unfazed by his little trip out today and completely unaware that he’s come home with some bits missing! 💙
Who finds it stressful when they need to medicate their guinea pig? Making sure you are prepared, before even picking up your guinea pig, can make a huge difference.
I made this video, which shows me administering different types of meds, to hopefully help with some tips, to make a tricky job much easier, for both you and your piggy! 😊
