Did you know that lilies are highly toxic to cats?

Despite being popular plants due to their beauty, all parts of a lily plant are dangerous to cats, including the leaves, flowers and pollen.

If your cat eats or licks any part of a lily plant, they should be brought to a vet immediately, as they are at risk of kidney failure.

Be careful if there are any in Valentine’s bouquets 💐

🎉🎉BAXTER🎉🎉

This handsome chap is about 1yr old and full of kitten fun.
He is a little afeared to start with but will soon be rolling about looking a carry on. Baxter has a front right wrist deformity which is basically double jointed but in no way hinders his mobility or quality of life.
Baxter will need outdoor time after settling and can happily mix with other cats/dogs after suitable gradual introductions. He is a pure delight to have around.
Baxter is neutered, 1st vac (2nd paid for), worm/flea treated, FIV/FeLV tested negative, microchipped, fully vet checked, wrist xrayed, comes with 4 weeks free PetPlan insurance and a new carrier. His adoption fee is £75

A beautiful girl inside and out. Has come back to us due to an allergy in her rehomed home.
Rose is a delightfully, friendly cat who adores being fussed and kissed and involved with family life. She is only 2yr old.
She is a little wary of other cats so any introductions need to be slowly managed. Rose would make a great family cat and will need outdoor time after settling.
She is neutered, fully vaccinated, worm/flea treated, microchipped , FIV/FeLV tested negative, fully vet checked, comes with 4 weeks free PetPlan insurance and a new carrier. Her adoption fee is £75.
Please note, Rose is med-long haired and requires grooming regularly.

Tortitude diva is Cleo, lady of the manor 🤣
Cleo is 4 years old and an affectionate cat who loves to chat and be chatted to.
She is very easily pleased and will enjoy some outdoor time once settled. Cleo will need gradual introductions to another cat, preferring a laid back, quiet one. Gentle dogs would be fine after the introductions over time.
Cleo is neutered, fully vaccinated, worm/flea treated, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested negative, fully vet checked, comes with 4 weeks free PetPlan insurance and a new carrier. Her adoption fee is £75.

This big boy is about 2years old. He’s such a loving cat but also such a woose 🙀. He’s ok with other cats if they are quiet and gentle and gradual introductions are given. Dogs would be a much longer period of introductions. He was on the mean streets so I suppose that’s why he is the way he is.
Horace just wants love and cuddles and kisses.

💜TOPSY HAS LEFT THE BUILDING FOR NI CAT CENTRE, DUNDONALD💜

REHOMING APPEAL FOR TOPSY

The big fella will be on the move to our NI Cat Centre in Dundonald IF he doesn’t get rehomed from here.

There’s been no interest in him whatsoever so it makes perfect sense to get him where there’s a bigger and wider array of people to see his amazing, totally unique, quirky personality.

It would be our dearest wish and that of his late mummy, for him to be rehomed from here.

Topsy can be a nibbler so young children wouldn’t be feasible. His insecurities mean that other cats who could take your precious attention away from him are also a no go.
He is so easily managed and we have him sussed, so you’d have all the tips and tricks at your fingertips.
That said, he is ultra affectionate and purrs non stop. He even gives kisses when asked, for his dreamie reward 😉. Topsy will definitely need outdoor time.

SETTLED AND RELIABLE

So interest and/or adoption of kittens and young cats has been amazing and thank you to everyone.

HOWEVER

Loki (REHOMED) and Topsy (a tad more than in years) are still here without so much as a sniff of interest 😭

Please consider these settled, reliable cats. They have so much to offer. Loki is just the most loveable son and Topsy has the quirkiest personality I’ve ever come across. Lovely lovely boys.

A huge, mahoosive THANK YOU, one and all.
During a year of unprecedented surrenders, strays, kittens and various cats coming in or needing space, we have relied heavily on our supporters who never fail to astound us by the generosity given.
We know that there is much more to do, especially neutering, come the New Year too. So, every penny, every pouch, every contribution is much needed and extremely gratefully received.
Thank you just doesn’t seem enough but sincerely from the bottom of our hearts THANK YOU.

So folks, rehoming has paused until 2nd January.
Babies still in care are Loki, Topsy but there will be a few more ready for 2025 re-start.
Would you like a wee sneaky peak?

I’m including the mature fellas as they really deserve to get out of foster.

2) Topsy quirky, unique 8yr old. No other pets or young children plz
3) Aisling 10months old, ultra affectionate. 💜REHOMED💜
4) Foxy really affectionate, great talker. 2-3 yr old 💜REHOMED💜
5) Rose - Shy for short while then super affectionate. 2yr old 💜REHOMED💜
6) Evie - 18months old. Indoor only. Quiet but very loving. 💜REHOMED💜
7) Wayne - 11 weeks quiet, playful 💜REHOMED💜
😎 LaurieBoi - 11 weeks confident, playful 💜REHOMED💜
9) Danielle - 11 weeks confident, playful 💜REHOMED💜
10) Holly 💜REHOMED💜 & Ivy (REHOMED)- 10 weeks quiet, playful. Can be separated.

With the exception of Evie, they all need indoor/outdoor homes. Gentle gradual introductions to other pets (except Topsy)
