I haven't been posting recently just because I have been focused on trying to keep orders moving while we were down a machine (for a week longer than expected!) and trying to play catch up now that it's home and working well! And I've been a bit neglectful in taking pictures to have something to post 🙈

Orders are once again moving quickly now we have 2 working machines, with lots posted so far this week and more already done ready to leave tomorrow 😁 we are still a bit behind, mainly with the HFP colourway, as we've been working on getting the rescues order ready in time for a transport run this week! This is now complete, and we've just had a second cone of sky blue thread arrive so we can both work through the outstanding HFP colourway orders and get them moving faster (usually we each work on different colours so we don't need 2 cones of the same colour!)

We expect to be back within a 1-2 week turnaround time by the end of next week 👍

I think I've responded to all messages, but please do give me a kick in the pants if I've missed you and I'll get back to you ASAP 😊

Sorry for the quietness the last couple of weeks, we are very busy here at the moment which is awesome, but we are currently down one machine! We have 2 but one has recently decided to chew webbing and thread instead of sewing it together, so it's in the shop until Monday!

I'm doing my best to keep up but I have fallen slightly behind by about 1 week. As of Monday we will be able to get back to full speed and we aim to be back down to a 1-2 week turnaround time by the end of next week

I've also neglected to take pictures, because I'm a super messy worker when I'm busy and my photography spot became a fleece and webbing dumping ground 🙈 but here's a few that I took today, including one that just screams Norwich City FC!

We are getting incredibly busy which is amazing! And we are mostly managing to stay within turnaround time! From now on, if we haven't hit our max turnaround time, we will either:

🐾 Upgrade your postage to first class (if you purchased with second class post)
🐾 Refund you the difference between first and second class post (if you chose first class)
🐾 Refund 20% of your shipping costs (overseas post)

I have some pictures to upload tomorrow, but just a quick heads up for those who have open messages with me in WhatsApp. I got a new phone today and when I logged into WhatsApp on this new phone it logged me out of my old one, and none of my messages are there!

The Lost in Space collection has been reduced in price!

I said when these were released that it was the first of hopefully many in stock drops, however this is not going to be the case. This drop was a large expense and a huge chunk of time to make, and it seems much more time and cost effective to do what we have done in the last couple of weeks which is to focus on reducing our overall turnaround time instead of creating ready made stock 😊

Does anyone have any pictures of their dogs wearing one of the newer style (triangle rings) harnesses that they would be happy for me to use on the website please? (in the product images just to show how they look on a dog)

Over the next few months I would like to arrange a handful of product photoshoots in a few different locations (thinking Shrewsbury, and somewhere in Snowdonia at the moment), I can take the photos (all the ones below were taken by me) but I will need a few models!

If you have a dog who is short coated, friendly and handleable (as I'll need to put harnesses/collar on/take them off a few times), are able to get to Shrewsbury/Snowdonia, and would like some free pictures and a small goodie bag for your dog please drop me a message 😊

I took this video just before we reopened the website (it's not this tidy now 🙈😂), and thought you might like to see where we make all the gear! This is our workshop, it's in our basement which is a bit of a bummer when it's a beautiful day, but I love the space. While we were closed it had a fresh coat of paint and some reorganising Indi-Dog turned 10 years old last month, it's still amazing to me that this all started on a little sewing machine squeezed between my sofas in the living room, and has slowly evolved to take over an entire room and support our family of 4 We could never have gotten to this point without our customers, we love and appreciate you all ❤️

Our Story

Indi-Dog was founded in 2011 to fill a gap in the market for pretty but functional dogwear, designed with strong dogs in mind. We couldn’t find what we wanted for our own dogs, so we set about making it ourselves. We started selling in online dog communities and things snowballed from there! Over the years we have experimented with multiple materials in order to bring our customers the highest quality products at affordable prices, and 200+ 5 star reviews would suggest we are doing just that! We supply custom fit and stock sized harnesses, collars, leads and other walking accessories, all made in house, in our basement workshop on the Welsh Border (previously Suffolk based). Big dogs, small dogs, reactive dogs, sporting dogs, we cater for all breeds and can manufacture equipment for most activities so check us out and get in touch!
