So, we have two dogs and this is our first litter with Poppy. Experiencing the birth of the puppies and their development is a real eye-opener! Why? Because when we bought Daisy and Poppy, we didn't know to ask questions such as this:
- Which puppy has been the dominant since birth?
- Which puppy has been the least assertive?
- Can you tell me about each puppy's personalities?
- Which one is most vocal - and why?
- Which one is quiet - and why?
- Which puppy weighs the most?
- Which puppy continued to put on weight at a 'good' rate?
- Was there a puppy that didn't put on weight as fast as others - and why?
- Which one seems to have the best coat?
You see, all these questions matter! Why? Because they 'could' tell you something about how they're going to develop from a personality to a health perspective.
Ask the right questions! It's not just about their looks and how they feel!
