HAS ANYONE SEEN GIZMO

Gizmo went missing from his home in York Road, Newton Stewart about 6 months ago. The family had moved from the King Street area in Newton Stewart and Gizmo kept wandering off to find his old home.

We believe there may have been a sighting of him near the Kirroughtree Hotel some months back, but not since.

Gizmo is a neutered, ginger male cat and he is chipped. He has a knick out of his right ear.

If you think you may have seen a cat like him in the York Road and King Street areas of Newton Stewart please get in touch. Be mindful that he may have travelled and could be out of area.

DO YOU RECOGNISE THIS CAT?

UPDATE- owner located.

This ginger tom cat has been visiting a resident for 6 months, in Creemills Walk area of Newton Stewart.

He is not neutered and is causing a bit of an issue with the resident cats. We are keen to locate his owner and to encourage neutering.

Tom cats can be a nuisance if they are left in tact. They fight for territory, wander miles to find a mate, carry and transfer deadly viruses by fighting and mating. Most FIV and FeLV cases are caused by male cats that have not been neutered.

It is as important to neuter male cats as it is to neuter female cats.
We urge owners to be responsible and neuter their cats. Cats Protection offer a very generous neutering scheme and there really is no excuse to let cats breed at 5 months of age, adding to the vast numbers of unwanted animals.
There are far more cats needing homes than there are homes on offer, please do not add to this crisis.

Bargains and Goodies to be had

I shall be selling some wears, and doing a tombola style thing, over the weekend, to raise a bit of money for CP. I'll be sat outside the house, in our front garden, with a dainty table, and a glass of Pepsi Max. Please come see me if you're local (south of Wigtown).

We've still got loads of wine (the tombola). And I'm going to dig out some of the things I've made that didn't go at Christmas. Now would be a opportunity time to come and pick my brain about cat related things!

Please message for details on where I am if you don't know.
