Morning everyone, it's 99% humidity today so if you're walking your dogs try and keep the exercise down to a minimum as they can still get heat stroke when the sun isn't shining. I took Kito to a field with water in this morning to cool off, he found a broken tennis ball and has been having fun ever since
One of the 6 week courses that we are running is the Beginners Trick Training Course. It starts on Saturday January 8th at the Village Hall in South Nutfield @ 2.30pm.
Trick training is more than just showing off to your friends how clever your dog is. Training you dog to give their paw or lay down on command on their side (play dead) Playing dead is really helpful when your vet wants to check your dog for an injury. It's also a lot of fun and helps build your relationship with your dog.
Don't take my word for it, have a look at Molly demonstrating what you can learn

Joe in the frost
Joe hopes everyone has a lovely Monday. We were out early this morning and it was absolutely beautiful with all the frost around. Remember to always wash your dogs paws when you come back from a walk. Antifreeze, salt and the sprays people use to defrost the car windows can be extremely poisonous for dogs. They can pick it up on their paws and then lick their feet, so a quick wash will ensure that everything has been removed
Puppies wanted!
Exciting new project, can you help!
