Same junction, different dog walk day, different drama, that I helped out with… What will be no 3 ?! 🤔🤣
This motor home had broken down and its driver had no way of getting help as his phone was dead, until I leant him mine… What would we do without Google and mobile phones! Hope the rescue driver wasn’t too long. 🫰🏻

Too hot for Sniffy Strolls today so this handsome boy did some sausage bobbing and sniffy games in the shade instead and then we enjoyed some sofa snuggles. 🐾🌞🥵🌞🐾

Grass Seeds, especially Foxtail Grass can be especially problematic
I try to avoid areas with these grasses if possible & always keep an eye out for seeds, ticks etc when dropping a dog home. It's worth knowing the signs to look out for.

Too Hot Tongue Out Tuesday. It was too hot today except for the earliest of Sniffy Strollers to have a slow shady sniffy stroll. The rest had lots of cooler fun at home. 👅👅👅👅👅👅👅👅

I hope you all had a lovely weekend & are enjoying the beautiful sunny weather.

Whilst it is lovely for us, it can sometimes cause an increased health risk to our pups.

In respect of this & the forecasted heat wave this week, I would just like to remind you of my hot weather policy.
The welfare of all my Sniffy Strollers is paramount at all times .
Walk times may be altered to aid the limitation of risk but are obviously dependent on my daily schedule.
The risks will be assessed due to a number of factors at the time of walk, including temperature, humidity, the age, breed, fitness levels of individual dogs & the accessibility to shaded areas/water on their walk route etc.
I will be carrying drinking water with me to be offered to the dogs frequently, if they are walked.
Due to this walks may be substituted to drop in visits, where dogs will be toileted either on a very short shady walk, if suitable or alternatively in your garden. I will then spend the remaining booked time with your dog giving them fun enrichment activities. Which will avoid them getting overly hot. I may even make some doggy ice cream for them if they're lucky.
