Another busy day ahead, since we have reopened we have been able to treat folks for a range of conditions. Things have changed though in terms of how we deliver our treatments as we now follow government guidelines regarding health and safety, plus on a positive note, Paul and I both tested NEGATIVE for Covid -19 and have remained asymptomatic since Covid-19 emerged.

Laser therapy FOR THE WIN!!! 🏆🏆🏆 Molly started this process a little over 6 weeks ago with some VERY severe wounds and swelling, which required a LOT of debriding! With laser therapy and hydrotherapy in addition to her medications, she is completely healed! We recommend laser therapy for wound repair, as well as for arthritis, post-op, etc.
(These are the last three photos - the first part of the process is quite a bit more graphic, so we will post those photos in comments.)
Please let us know if you would like to learn more about the benefits of laser therapy for your pet!

Just finished reading a fabulous book called "Lucy's Law" absolutely brilliant it is a story about a little dog called Lucy who sadly was born on a puppy farm and bred over and over again 😠😠😠 the book tells the story how a vet called Marc Abraham and Lisa (Lucy's owner) plus many many others who over 10 years campaigned to ban 3rd Party sales of puppies and kittens. Cannot thank all those involved ♥️♥️♥️ with your constant campaigning this vile act will no longer exist from the 6th April 2020.

If you are an animal lover this will be the best thing you have read this year ❤️

December 2019 the world woke to feel the effects of a virus known as Covid-19. It does not care how old you are, where you live, whether your male or female even if your rich and famous. Covid-19 is not a horror film or fictional story! it is real and happening now. We must do everything we can to support each other and listen to the advice of the medical professions nobody likes change or inconvenience but at the moment we have a choice to stay safe or sadly die. If we don't follow the guidelines and act responsibly, then there is the potential of that choice being taken away.

If we all stay together and help each other, listen to the advice being offered we will get through this, with or without bloody toilet rolls!!! xx

Stay safe everyone and a big shout out to everyone in the NHS ###

Thought I would share my own personal dilemma. On Wednesday I had to have a molar tooth extraction, which was also infected It was a difficult and painful extraction which left me in great pain and discomfort. My face and gum where swollen and very sore. Although I needed some painkillers I used laser to help with the pain, swelling and healing. I have had a total of 3 sessions which lasted around 2.30 minutes per session. Since I started the laser the swelling has gone, my gum and the cavity are looking fantastic and the clot has settled brilliantly. So thumbs up for laser 😀😀😀

Meet Duncan! You may have seen Facebook posts about Duncan shared locally as he was injured in a house fire in late November 2019. Funds were raised to help this sweet guy and his family with his medical bills. Blair Animal Hospital saw these posts, and we wanted to do our part to help! We reached out to Duncan’s mom and offered complimentary laser therapy treatments to help Duncan recover from his extensive burn wounds. Check out these amazing results.
