Our Just Venison

We use 100% Venison Trim here which is British Farmed Venison. A beautiful blend that can act as a great novel protein and despite what you may think, is actually very gentle on the tummy.

It’s low in fat, and a great option if you fancy something a little different. Simple, tasty, and just sooo full of goodness.

⭐️ TUBS ⭐️

You may well remember our journey into sourcing new tubs… stressful! Well we’ve finally agreed on these little beauties and we couldn’t be happier with them.

They stack well, they hold the moisture, the lids make it easy for serving up and better yet they fit in our ethos of compostable / biodegradable.

We appreciate this means our cost price per tub is a little more expensive than those that use plastic, but we’re not comfortable adding to the existing landfills full of plastic.

Any guesses what this protein is?!

It’s the one and only Be-ewe-tiful Banquet, our single protein, 80:10:10 Lamb recipe.

What’s in the mix?

We use a beautiful 80VL Lamb Trim that makes up most of the recipe, which is British of course! We then couple this up with Lamb Bone which is typically Breast Bone, alongside Lamb Offal.

And when we say Lamb we mean Lamb! Nor a make up of trachea, lung, heart and a tiny portion of Trim. It’s all about quality, consistency, and ethical sourcing over here.

Match this up with our handy little compostable tubs and lids and it’s the ultimate dream team.

As of 1st February 2025, some of our prices will increase.

We're sorry about this! But after an in-depth review of the business, we were heavily undercharging on a fair amount of our products. Match this up with the impending National Minimum Wage increase, new tubs and lids, increased courier charges and product costs; it was inevitable.

All we can say is we continue to produce a top quality product from reliable sources. We hand tub every single box which is why you get that beautiful chunky texture. We never waiver on quality of product. More to come on what we do and how we do it soon.

The Forever Dog - "Pomegranate has been shown to help protect cells and, especially, the heart. Cardiac diseases are considered to be
the second-­ most-­ prevalent cause of death for dogs. Valvular endocardiosis and dilated cardiomyopathy are the most common of these and are known to be more prevalent in aged dogs.

Oxidative damage leading to cell death may constitute one of the most proximal of the cascade of events that results in heart failure. In a study published in the Journal of Applied Research in Veterinary Medicine, scientists found that feeding pomegranate extract to a dog has incredible protective heart and health benefits.

Pomegranates also contain molecules called “elligantans,” which our gut microbes convert to urolithin A. Urolithin A has been shown to regenerate mitochondria in worms­ increasing their life span by more than 45 percent. These encouraging results prompted scientists to test their findings in rodents, and the effects proved similar. Older mice showed signs of increased mitophagy (self-destruction of damaged mitochondria) and demonstrated better running endurance compared to the control group.

You’d be surprised how many dogs will eat these tart, crunchy little jewels mixed in with their food, about a teaspoon for every ten pounds."
