Very, very sadly one of Every Paw Matters adopters and long term friend of the group has been taken seriously ill and is in hospital since yesterday. There is nowhere for their beautiful cat to go. She cannot be with dogs unless they are quiet and friendly.
This is a desperate situation so please get in touch with EPM ASAP if you can give this moggy a safe haven. You can still help by sharing this post 🙏🏼🐾

🎄 Day 2 of Christmas Week at MUTTLEY’S! 🎨🐾

This afternoon was all about getting creative with our Arts and Crafts session – paw-some baubles made with very unique paw prints! Some of our dogs decided “abstract art” was the way to go.

But the highlight of the day? A surprise visit from Santa Paws! 🎅🐶 Let’s just say Santa Paws has incredible patience (300 photos later, we got 16 decent ones!). You could hear him muttering, “Thank dog this happens only once a year,” as he jetted off on his sleigh at 6 PM. 📸🛷

We had a wonderful puppy consultation with Ellie, a 9½-week-old Whippet who was absolutely adorable! We worked on “down” from “sit,” practiced “leave,” and even did recall training on a long lead – she did brilliantly.

Afterwards, we visited Stanley, one of our daycare stars, who has been a little naughty at home: chasing bikes, grumbling at other dogs, and not listening. His owner now has some techniques to help Stanley understand that she’s in charge, so he can relax and enjoy being a dog. Stanley did great, and we had a lovely, incident-free walk, leaving his mum feeling much more confident!

🎄✨ Christmas has officially landed at MUTTLEY’S! 🎄✨

The festive season is in full swing, and we couldn’t be more excited to share the magic with you all! Our beautiful Christmas tree is up, the lights are twinkling, and the festive field is looking like a winter wonderland. 🌟

The team has well and truly got into the Christmas spirit—carols are being sung (with varying degrees of talent 🎤), Sarah’s in the kitchen perfecting her figgy pudding (watch out Bake Off 🍮), and the dogs are loving the festive vibes as much as we are. 🐾

We’ll be sharing lots of photos and reels throughout December to spread the cheer. Keep an eye out for festive moments, joyful pups, and maybe even a certain someone in a red suit with a bag full of treats. 🎅🐶

Glimpses of Snugness

Winter has officially arrived—it’s absolutely freezing out there this morning! ❄️ The frost has turned our fields into a winter wonderland, but at Muttley’s, we’re all about keeping your pups both entertained and cosy.

We’re excited to share a sneak peek of our latest project: transforming the old dairy into a bespoke winter doggy snug! While it’s still a work in progress, here’s a glimpse of what’s coming. Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll be revealing the final touches and welcoming your dogs into a warm, snug haven designed especially for chilly days like this.

Today, we’ll be embracing the crisp winter air with some fun in the frosty fields, but there’ll also be plenty of opportunities to retreat indoors for snuggles, warmth, and enrichment. Our team has lined up puzzle games, brain-teasers, and social activities to keep those tails wagging and minds sharp.

Amy’s gone home feeling like she’s gone 10 rounds with two heavyweight boxers… oh wait, she has! 😂

Jasper and Bobby both had their first day at Muttley’s today, and they were absolute stars. These two have already hit it off and might just be best friends for life. Here’s to many more rounds of fun in the fields, boys!

Brian is now RESERVED 🙂

he will start his new life later this week in his fantastic new home.

Thank you to all that applied for Brian and i’m so sorry if i didn’t get back to you ( my inbox was full)

it was decided that Brian would be best as an only dog in the home, so his adopters were chosen as they have no other pets

As soon as Brian is home and settled i’m sure there will be plenty of updates 🙂

Thanks to Wildlife In Need and their volunteers, who went out in the pitch black but couldn’t find the ones I was unable to get. So returned at 8.30pm that same evening with thermal imaging and discovered them burrowed into grass hillocks. They were then taken to Janet one of the rescues volunteers who kept them in her conservatory until they could be brought here at their new abode Home Farm, Hurn and reunited with the soggy one. Though very skinny and scraggy, they are happy and doing well. 🙏🏼🐓teamwork.
