At our CC core, we're passionate about your pups' welfare and wellbeing. Our unwavering dedication to providing personalised care tailored to your dog's unique needs sets us apart from others.
🐾 We always carry out at least one meet-and-greet with every pup (and owner) who enters our care. Every pup (adult or pupster) will also be introduced to the van without any other dogs present.
🐾 Every dog’s first play visit will be at a quiet time of day. On this play visit, they will meet just one other of their soon-to-be new friends; this allows us to observe and assess play styles, confidence, calmness, sensitivity, etc.
🐾 Dogs are not moved into group play until we feel the time is right. If we feel a dog needs more 1-2-1 visits to aid its settling in, we arrange for this to happen. We have had some dogs that require several weeks of just one play friend before we introduce a second and then a third; all owners are kept up to date with how things are progressing and are involved in all decisions.
🐾 The reason we have between 3 and 5 play slots a day is so we can keep play numbers lower. By doing this, we can have different groups to meet the needs of all the dogs in our care. Each new dog is assessed, so we know which playgroup is best suited.
🐾 We sometimes move dogs into other play groups as they settle in, but only once we have discussed this with the owners.
🐾 We would never put monetary gain before a dog’s welfare. If we feel our services aren’t suitable for a dog, we will always advise the owner and assist in finding alternative solutions.
🐾 Because of the above, we do not accept ad hoc bookings; we believe it is not in the dog's best interest to be forced to travel and interact with groups of unknown dogs. This can be pretty traumatic and overwhelming for any dog.
🐾 All the dogs in our care attend play at least once a week. This ensures they all have the same play friends on each session and all have a relaxed, fun, yet exciting day.
We believe that every dog deserves to live a healthy and happy life, and that's why we go the extra mile to ensure their needs are consistently met and to keep your pups safe, whilst enriching their mind, body and soul.
