Okay - here is an absolute heart melter! 🧡🥺
Meet Rox! He’s still a puppy but knows exactly what he likes, and that’s Pawtato Ocean Treats! 🌱🐟

Here’s what Pet Parent Mateja told us about him:

“Crazy Puppy Rox here is an 8 month old border collie. His parents are both merles which makes eyesight and hearing problems likely. Rox was thought to be deaf and blind and was taken from his mum much too soon and they were going to euthanise him. In a turn of events, we found out about him and drove 6 hours one way to collect him.

Long story short, while they are not perfect, he certainly does have eyesight and hearing! However, his all-time favourite activity is chewing, gnawing and tearing. With vet’s permission he started on Pawtato Tubes at only 2 months old, and he loves them still. However his firm favourite are Ocean Treats and he has been given only as an older puppy to avoid choking risk.”

”My name is Bella and I am 8 years old. I used to live with my best friend and twin brother, Jasper. Sadly he died of dog meningitis at the end of February.
I am now trying to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of Dog Meningitis.
I also LOVE playing fetch. On the beach I will only fetch stones. Anywhere else it is either my mini tennis ball or giraffe.
My other favourite things to chase are pigeons and squirrels.

🌊🌍 World Cleanup Day 🌍🌊

For World Cleanup Day, our Pawtato team with the help from team VeggiePets.com decided to take action and embark on a mission to Langstone Beach. 🏖️

We went down with the aim to get stuck in and see if we could make a difference to our local shore. Sadly when we arrived we can see that we had some work to do! The shore was speckled with discarded plastic wrappers, cloth, and debris that the earth refused to take either. Seeing it for ourselves, we know it's a global crisis we can't ignore.

Our Cofounder Darrell De Vries said "It's disheartening to see how plastic has impacted this stunning place. We found sweet wrappers, bottle cap tabs, and fishing wire – seemingly small, but with significant consequences."

Plastic pollution threatens our environment and wildlife, disrupting ecosystems and releasing harmful chemicals. 🐠🌱 It's a crisis we must address together.

What a great day to celebrate our beautiful planet and all the creatures that call it home, including you delightful dogs! As responsible humans, we’re here to remind you of the important role you play in protecting and preserving the environment.

To begin let's discuss the three R's: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. We know that as dogs, not be able to chip in quite so well when it comes to our odd looking activities, but you can still contribute! Instead of tearing apart your toys, try to make them last longer by taking breaks and enjoying them later or encourage your human to opt for toys made with eco-friendly materials.

Secondly, let’s talk about your bathroom habits. Toilet training is not only good manners but also an eco-friendly move. By doing your business where your human can help clean up after you using biodegradable doggy bags, you're helping to keep the environment clean and healthy.
