Our Trowbridge branch is open:

8.30am - 7.00pm Mon to Fri

8.30am - 4.00pm Sat

Please note our consultations are by appointment only. We pride ourselves in offering a 24 hours out of hours service, run by the same staff that you see every day, so keeping the familiarity for both you and your pet.

❗️found rabbits ❗️

We have had 7 rabbits handed into our Trowbridge hospital this evening; 3 neutered males, 1 neutered female, 1 entire male and 1 entire female as well as one infant female - all of varying colours and all unfortunately are not microchipped

They were found in the road on Green Lane in Trowbridge

🌲 🎅 Christmas Opening hours at Harris, Hill & Gibbons:

As always there will be a dedicated team on site at Trowbridge 24 hours of the day for Emergencies only. However, to give our staff some well-deserved time to spend with their families we will be closing as below:

20th December – Closing all sites at 5:30pm – Emergencies only at MiNight Vet Trowbridge

24th December – Closing all sites at 5pm – Emergencies only at MiNight Vet Trowbridge

25th December – All sites closed all day – 24-hour Emergencies only at MiNight Vet Trowbridge

26th December – All sites closed all day – 24-hour Emergencies only at MiNight Vet Trowbridge

31st December – All sites closing at 5pm - Emergencies only at MiNight Vet Trowbridge

❗️IMPORTANT CLIENT NOTICE❗️

You may receive an email from Petchip.network advising that your pet’s microchip registration has expired and you need to pay for it to be updated – PLEASE IGNORE. THIS IS A SCAM. The email comes with a link taking you to a page showing your pet’s name, microchip number, your contact phone number and looks very convincing. PLEASE IGNORE.

There is a list of approved databases on gov.uk: Get your dog or cat microchipped - GOV.UK

Typically you would only pay a fee or first registering your pet or if you contact the company to update your details .

It is important to keep your pet’s microchip contact details up-to-date including if you move address or change phone number/ email address. Please contact your microchip provider direct to update your details.

STRAY CAT
We had a stray cat bought into Trowbridge branch last night. It’s a male entire cat estimated to be around 5-6 months of age. It’s black and white short hair. If you believe this is your cat please call the practice on 01225760630.

We have had a young male (not castrated) tabby cat handed into us that we suspect has been hit by a car. He is unwell and does require treatment. Sadly he is not microchipped and was located on Langford road. If you think this may be your cat please call us on 01225 760630.

Sadly we have had a cat that is deceased handed in to us. This is a female black and white cat that is microchipped but unfortunately the owners details are not registered. Unfortunately we had a deceased cat brought into us yesterday. she was found between beckington and Dilton Marsh on the bypass.
The cat is a female domestic short hair, slim brown tabby in colour. We would say between middle aged and senior. Sadly she did not have a microchip. If you think this may be your cat please contact us on 01225 760630.
