Don’t know about you guys but this weather is brutal! Fair play to my clients that only have outdoors and smashed it this week!

Next Thursday I have pole and grids at morris and is available to book on equilive!

Finish up Friday the 30th for my summer holidays so taking bookings from mid September onwards 🐎

FULL TIME YARD STAFF REQUIRED FOR BUSY RIDING SCHOOL

Overall Purpose of the Job:
To work within a team of yard staff to deliver the best quality Riding school and livery service. Willing to work towards coaching exams.

Hours:
Hours will be based on a Rota system and there will be a need to be flexible with working longer hours as necessary to fulfil your main duties and responsibilities below.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Care and management of all livestock and equipment.
Cleaning stables and yard including tack room, feed room and barn.
Working with kids and adults.
Riding is a must.
Preparing stables for horses.
Preparing horses & tack for riders..
Assist in ensuring that all fields are kept clear of droppings and poisonous plants.
Helping assist the vet and farrier when necessary and carrying out any prescribed treatments. .
Helping at shows
Carrying out minor repairs and improvements to equipment i.e. painting jumps etc.
To comply with the centre Health and Safety Policy and procedures.
Making up feeds
Any other reasonable duties as requested.
Working with young horses.
This job description is not intended to be exhaustive. The post holder will be expected to adopt a flexible attitude towards these duties which may, after discussion, have to be varied subject to the needs of the facility and in keeping with the general profile of the job.
The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Yard staff Skills and Qualifications:
Working as a team lifting and carrying items dealing with children able to follow instruction being aware of health and safety issues knowledge of horses and experience with working with animals is an advantage

Got a busy week of teaching ahead most of the yards are outside and the weather is looking good 🐎🐎

This Wednesday and Friday I have coffee and canter 11am both days. These sessions are a great way to meet new people and gain confidence.

Poles and grids with myself at the Daimler foundation next Thursday (27th June) 🐎🐎

I will be running a pole and grid clinic next week all day. These sessions are max 4 riders for the hour.

Come along and join us these sessions are a great way to get your 4 legged friend more supple and agile. They are also good for younger horses to work on rhythm, balance and help them get more confident.

Great for the rider too 🐎🐎
