🎟️🏇🏼 𝗕𝗮𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸𝘀 🏇🎟️

We are delighted to be hosting two cross country course walks at Badminton Horse Trials this year. Brand ambassadors and 5* event riders Clea Phillips and Lici Hawker have kindly offered this fabulous opportunity to walk the course with them and gain an understanding of the course from a riders perspective.

The course walk with Clea Phillips will take place on 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗮𝘆 at 𝟰𝗽𝗺 and with Lici Hawker on 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗮𝘆 at 𝟮𝗽𝗺. Please meet on our stand 𝟮𝟯𝟳 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝗪𝗮𝘆 15 minutes prior for a welcome drinks reception to depart on the course walk at the times stated above. Simba’s very happy today with his new saddle from Sue Carson Saddles !

Between Simba and I were both quite difficult to fit… 🤣 Me with my ever changing back and Simba is a very cylinder shaped horse with huge movement which is often hard for me to sit to!
But now we have the new Vulcan model which features-

- A new rounded cantle (this first Vulcan model with this😆)
- A narrower twist for me
- A different shaped tree that gives more shoulder freedom for Simba
- Moulded knee blocks that feel amazingly supple
- All custom made to fit both mine and Simba’s body shape
- Fitted today with the air bags (I like it slighty up infront!)

I’m such a proud rider in these saddles, the entire fitting process and the range of models is honestly second to none. If you have any problems with you or your horse and want an easily changeable, custom made saddle I highly HIGHLY recommend ❤️

Kickstarting the year with Sirocco doing his first Grand Prix!💥
Really a special feeling to take this sweet horse from foal to Grand Prix level🥹 So much to improve but doing his first one aged 11 isn’t too shabby really. His wonderful nature makes everyone fall in love with him and despite not being the most gifted moving horse, he will always do whatever is asked with ears pricked and just such an easy attitude.
A one of a kind type horse for sure ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Simba’s all-you-can-eat buffet 🤣🥰❤️

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆? 🤔
Despite their ability to graze for long periods, horses have limited appetites and can only consume the equivalent of 2 - 2.5% of its bodyweight as food per day. Ideally, as much of this as possible should be forage. ✅

𝗔𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲, 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲.

⭐ The digestive system is designed to have a constant steady flow of fibre-rich food flowing through so access to ad lib forage will ensure it continues to function healthily.
⭐ Horses are designed to graze for 18 out of every 24 hours. If they are deprived of forage or pasture for any length of time, it can cause stress as well as digestive upset.
⭐ Chewing releases saliva, which helps neutralise the acid constantly produced by the horse’s stomach, so any period without forage leaves the stomach vulnerable to ulceration.

Forage alternatives are available for horses and ponies who may not be able to eat hay or haylage. Our new product, Natural Meadow Cobs, break down to a mash, so ideal for all types of horses, including equines with poor dentation. 🥰

Reaching for the stars with Sol Invictus X & qualifying for the Nationals at the same time!!🚀
So much to improve (obviously, it’s dressage) but overall just SO happy that I get to show off what a wonderful horse Simba is 🔥🥹❤️

70% in the Medium 🥉
69% in the Advanced Medium 🥈

Not bad as we’ve only done a handful of tests at both levels and his changes are rather on the wild side still 🤪

Meet three week old Formosa Erica TVS 🌸
So happy with this years foal - she is out of our big Mumma Seramai (Scolari x Rohdiamant) and by the young Helgstrand stallion For Real (Farrell x Lord Loxley I) who was double champion at the Bundeschampionat and I just loved how effortlessly he moves!!🚀
Mosi is a miniature version of both her parents and we are all rather in love with her 🥹🥦❤️

It’s been a wild ride of a year, from hacking in the January sun out in California to cantering around in the December snow of Oxfordshire - with everything else thrown in between!

I am looking forward to 2023 with my beautiful boys and wonderful team, my New Year’s resolution is to be more active of Facebook so we shall see how long that lasts 🤣🤞🏻

Great to be back out with Sol Invictus X (aka Simba!)

Back out in style winning both his novice classes and looking absolutely beautiful doing so - despite me going wrong even with Mum calling the test 🤣
